Charming hotel, deep in the black forest.Old-style room with views of the lush forests.The owners (it was a couple), were very nice, and very attentive at all times.

Nice spacious neat room with bathroom. We had a room with an outdoor area, overlooking the forest. Delicious extensive breakfast. Nice people, recommended!

We have never experienced a hotel like this. Completely worn out and neglected. None of the positions in the booking description apply. Upon request, towels were only changed on the 3rd day and the room was cleaned on the 5th of 8 days. But only because we were supposed to move to another room. Breakfast buffet only took place on weekends. The other days there were finished plates wrapped in foil on the table. Some of the rooms do not have smoke detectors and there are several junction boxes and other things hanging from the few functioning sockets.The one star is only given because the employees made an effort at breakfast and dinner despite absolute communication problems.

The accommodation only gets one star for the parking space, which you don't have to pay extra for. Otherwise a very old and shabby accommodation that doesn't deserve a ⭐️.

Ideal hotel! The location is super, everything is nearby, there are buses! Breakfast is great! We even took dinner, Margarita cooks great, especially for lovers of Russian cuisine. Parking is free. The room is good, value for money!

Price performance is completely OK.If you don't expect luxury and need the accommodation mainly for sleeping, you'll feel like you're in good hands.The breakfast for €5 per person is definitely sufficient.The hosts are friendly, polite and very accommodating although communication is rather patchy. However, with a little bit of English, German, hands and feet it works quite well.The Burgbach waterfall is definitely worth a visit.Reachable on foot in a few minutes.Otherwise you can get everywhere easily by car.

Almost okay for the price. Rooms old and no German-speaking staff. Restaurant and reception is closed. There was a small TV but no TV programs. If you wanted to watch a film you had to log into your own Amazon Prime Video account, which was out of the question for me. Breakfast was delivered to the room. It was sufficient and okay for the price. Room cleaning only possible if you handed in the key during the day. The location is really great.What a shame!I can't recommend it

Absolutely fine. Old but authentic and exceptionally clean. Atmospheric in a somewhat special way. Wonderful beds, quiet, excellent breakfast. Friendly and helpful owners, who indeed speak only limited German. No problem. Very affordable too.

Rooms were clean, no TV possible, power cable too short and no FB...breakfast was sparse, you had to get everything yourself (dishes), the table wasn't set, staff barely spoke German...not recommended

A very nice hotel that is secluded in the forest where you can have peace and quiet. The rooms are a bit older but very comfortable and cleanThe breakfast was very tasty and freshThe price is super cheapDefinitely a very nice hotel. I can recommend it

The guesthouse is located by the road, practically in the Black Forest. The road is not very busy, so the noise is not bothersome. Rooms clean and tidy. The breakfast is good, you can eat enough. In the evening you can eat a warm dinner here and drink beer or wine. A good base for hiking in the Black Forest. The service was very nice and helpful.

Very good hotel, friendly and friendly people. We visited in the summer with children, the children really enjoyed it. We had breakfast on the balcony, against the backdrop of a beautiful forest, the beauty is mesmerizing and we don’t even mind the road nearby, along which cars drive, the breakfasts were very tasty, there were even pancakes to order. The children asked for cocoa and they got it right away. The rooms, despite the fact that the apartments are a bit old, are very cozy, comfortable and clean.Not far from the hotel there is a beautiful small waterfall and an observation tower. The downside is that it is far from the main highways. And the hotel is difficult to find.

Wonderful experience. The place looks a little dated but I've found this experience to be pretty enjoyable. The hosts were genuinely nice people and were willing to provide a great service. The price helps a lot too. Affordable stay and a delicious breakfast. If you fancy a hike then you are also in luck! There is a beautiful waterfall just 30 minutes away.
