The stay was super peaceful even if it's in the heart of Ubud. it was super clean and staff was very very friendly. It was up to the standard and the rooms were pretty big.

Danger to health!!! Room 302 was an absolute disaster. We checked in and noticed when we walked into the room that it smelled awful. We immediately went to reception and wanted to change rooms. …

Absolutely catastrophic! Such a horrible room 302 was a nightmare. We arrived on the first day and when we walked into the room we were struck by the bestial stench. We reported this immediately and were told it would be taken care of. They couldn't offer us another room because it was fully booked (our neighbor left the next day). Service was terrible. The room was absolutely run down other than the smell. Blankets were moldy, stains and holes everywhere on/in the wall, wooden furniture was splintered (risk of injury), bed sheets were dirty(!), mattress underneath with lots of yellow stains, hot water didn't work. Absolutely no recommendation! We left on the 2nd day and didn't get anything refunded! In addition, the hotel has blocked us and we cannot do a review on Booking.com.I've traveled through Asian countries a few times now and I know that you can't expect the usual standards there, but that was subpar.Addendum:We were only charged for 1 night. Which is totally fair and good. Thank you very much for that! However, we remain of the opinion that the room should no longer be offered.

Our room is nice and clean. We had a good -day stay in this place. It’s located near the Ubud center so it’s very convenient to go around. Staffs are friendly and the owner is very considerate with our requests. And the complimentary breakfast is very good.

4 stars is an average between 5 stars for the staff, the breakfast, the laundry service, the very affordable tours and 3 stars for the rooms, that would need a deep refresh.Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this structure to anyone without luxury resort pretentions but willing to have a true Balinese experience.

The photos do not correspond to reality. Everything very neglected and full of humidity. The wifi didn't work and I needed it to work.

The entrance is a short walk up a narrow alley and is in a good location with many restaurants nearby. The staff were also very friendly and made me feel very welcome.Regarding rooms, satisfaction levels seem to vary considerably depending on where you are assigned. In addition to the building next to the pool, there are also rooms under the pool. The room was clean, but it was undeniably old. It's a shame, especially since there's a kitchen space that could be really useful with a little bit of work. Bed mattresses also have a limited lifespan. However, there is plenty of hot water and the air conditioner works well. WIFI is a bit unstable.By the way, there is a yoga studio next to the hotel. It seemed like it was aimed at beginners, but the price was cheap, so if you're interested, why not take a look?
