We were there with three 3rd graders for a school trip. The rooms were very clean and well maintained. The staff was super nice and very understanding towards all the children. The food was top notch, always sufficient and all the children enjoyed it very much. We had great offers. Our children were able to practice pottery and were particularly enthusiastic about drumming. The playground and the nearby forest offered the children numerous opportunities to play. There was stick bread around the campfire and the songs we accompanied with the guitar created a great, harmonious atmosphere. In summary you can say it was 3 wonderful days with great experiences. We teachers and educators would like to thank all employees for all their hard work and great organization. We would love to come back.

This country school home is quietly located on the manor farm. 50m opposite is the multi-purpose hall for sporting activities. A "playing area with a cable car is right next to the petting enclosure for the goats and sheep. There is also a park 100m away with climbing opportunities and a volleyball field. The village is charmingly designed and is one of "Saxony's most beautiful villages". You can get there quickly with the nearby bus stop You can go to Leipzig or the district town of Borna by bike or on foot and you can reach the Störmthaler See or the Highfield Festival in August. However, you should always make inquiries in advance if you want to visit.

Beautiful, cozy, small, fine country school home. Rooms tidy and clean, everywhere tidy and clean. Good and sufficient food at all meals with a relatively large selection, fresh and lovingly prepared. Nicely located in a beautiful place. Great playground on site. Sports and play equipment can be borrowed, and community games are available. Courses can be booked. All in all very nice. The only point of criticism - the windows should be secured since the facility is used by children and mosquitoes or fly protection in front of them would also be an advantage. In the dining room there could be felt pads on the wooden chairs and tables - high noise levels.

Beautiful rural area on Lake Störmthal with many excursion options.The staff is very nice and helpful.It is also a nice destination for families who want to escape the noise of the city.

You can rent bed linen for money, breakfast, lunch and dinner are super cool for a youth hostel, vegan things are also available, lovely staff and beautiful grounds. There are also little goats with beautiful flabby bellies 🤠

My daughter was at the holiday camp here in 2021. She thought it was great and wants to come back here next year. Thanks to a super nice team of supervisors, the holiday camp was, in my daughter's words, "just fantastic." Thank you very much to the whole team and see you next year !!!!

Highly recommended,Beautifully located, idyllic home for young and old right on Lake Störmthal. PURE NATURE on the outskirts of the city. Nice people, great modern property and delicious, varied, healthy food. A few pictures of the property and the many great options very close by
