Were not in the Schützenhof itself but in the booth in front of it. Everyone was fed up, great value for money. Very nice service and grill master. If we come by again we would love to come back

So we visit the Schützenhof in Leipzig once a year when we play against RB Leipzig, we only visited the restaurant there, didn't sleep in the hotel, eat, service is very good.

We came there for dinner by chance as we still had time before the concert. The staff was very friendly despite the many guests and thin staffing levels. The food tasted great 👍 can be recommended

I've known about the Leipzig Schützenfest since 2009 and I'm a bit surprised by some of the reviews, to say the least. The spread of reviews also prompted me to write my review today. Most people will know that the Schützenhof Leipzig, beautifully located in the alluvial forest, includes a guesthouse, a very busy snack bar, the office of the Leipziger Schützenverein e.V., and of course various shooting ranges up to large-caliber rifles.Of course, the staff can have a bad day, but it's too easy to judge typical German cuisine with just one point and also know what's coming out of the fridge.I have been a guest in the guesthouse for at least 4 weeks over the last 12 years, of course during this time I was in the restaurant and even more in the snack bar. From what I remember, I wasn't even dissatisfiedNow I live approx3 km from the Schützenhof, we drive past the large area and buildings almost every day.I only deducted stars because of the simple guesthouse rooms, but my experience in this area only goes up to 2020.

A very cozy restaurant with typical German cuisine. The food was delicious and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. Dogs were very welcome and were provided with fresh water immediately upon arrival.

Unfortunately I can't say much about the Schützenhof itself, I've never been there. But during the day I often pass (and stop by) the bratwurst stand. The sausages are fine and totally ok for a small hunger. What is definitely worth mentioning in my opinion is the young woman who sells them. She is always in a really good mood and very friendly. You don't get that that often anymore, especially with this consistency and it feels real. Many thanks to this authentic happy nature.

We were there for lunch on Sunday. Lone fighter Georg did everything brilliantly. The food was great, generous portions and extremely tasty. We also found the atmosphere in the restaurant very pleasant.
