We always book a room in advance for events, which is what we did, and suddenly after some time the reservation was canceled because there were no places available. Be careful if you want to stay overnight

BEDBUGS ALERT!! 7th September 2024This place is littered with tons of bed bugs, running all around the place (table, floor, walls, beds) with many dead ones visible on the floor, lockers ...Hard to believe the cleaners (if there are), are not aware of the problem.For 40min straight we called the owner's emergency number with no results.Eventually they replied offering us another room. Given the quantity, I have a hard time believing that the problem is contained in one single room, so we asked for a refund (which arrived 2 days later).Luckily there were rooms available at A&O, but in my 4 years of extensive travels this is the first time I have seen bed bugs (especially with 0 previous reviews).So beware!!Personally if I had a reservation with them in the next few weeks, I would look for somewhere else.

We only had one surprise here, we liked it, the impression in the hallway took a bit of getting used to, but the room was good, beds were clean, shower was in the room and parking nearby. Would book it again at any time, even for a longer period of time.

I liked it but nothing moreThe first night I had the room to myselfThe second evening I had my bath towel and bathroom essentials stolen but some of my belongings were found in a trash can.I suspect my roommates responsible for this conflictThe manager was friendly and offered to change rooms :)It's a shame there is no reception staff :(

We were in Leipzig for a weekend and had a two-bed room in this hostel. The staff in the associated restaurant, where we had to check in, was very friendly and uncomplicated. The room itself, with its own bathroom (shower/toilet), was simply but attractively furnished, everything was clean and bright. Our room faced the front on the 1st floor, but with the window closed you couldn't hear any street noise. Every now and then you could hear the residents of the neighboring rooms through the door when they were out and about. But that was also within limits.The location is really great. The tram is not far, the train station is only a few stops away and you can quickly reach all kinds of restaurants, pubs and the like on foot.We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back again.

This hostel is great, easy to find, friendly staff, super nice, and we were positively surprised by our room, well furnished, makes you feel good and the room and private bathroom are very clean 👌 we recommend it and would be happy to come back 😊

I'm already staying overnight, it's actually possible. I was in a shared room and that was perfectly fine. However, the beds creaked a lot and since they were bunk beds, it was quite loud at times at night. And although the beds were uncomfortable, the overall price-performance ratio was pretty good.So a shared room is okay for one night, but not recommended for several nights.

The location is good 👍 but if you like it quiet, you're better off somewhere else. Partying until the early hours of the morning really gets on your nerves. Sleep was out of the question.The restaurant is recommended!

We had the apartment. Own bathroom and kitchen. 3 rooms. 3 double beds and a pull-out couch. A large hallway. The mattresses were very worn out. Unfortunately also dirty. Bedding was clean. We found things from the previous tenant in the drawers. It is a non-smoking apartment. Nevertheless, it smelled of cold smoke in the living room. The location is great. In 15 minutes you can walk to the city center or the main train station. There are lots of great restaurants right around the corner.
