Nice little hotel in Leipzig, rooms small - but ok - with balcony, bathroom with shower 80x80, breakfast room clean, small elevator, unfortunately no parking spaces available - only park on the street, tram stop about …

I work in the field throughout Northern Germany and stay in a hotel two to three times a week. I ended up in this hotel in Leipzig through a recommendation on Booking.com (€48 per night without breakfast). The hotel has its own parking spaces 100m away from the hotel, which is extremely important as there are almost no free parking spaces on public roads. From the outside it is very inconspicuous and not immediately recognizable as a hotel, which is why I was a bit skeptical at first before entering the hotel. But that should change suddenly! The front desk staff were so friendly and check-in process was quick. However, when I entered the room, it was much too narrow for me, both in terms of the entire room and the bed (really very small bed), so I went back to reception to ask for a larger room with a double bed. Luckily there was still a comfort room available for an additional charge of €15. When I opened the door to the comfort room and saw it, I was immediately thrilled. Large, bright room with a double bed and two additional, smaller beds for additional travelers. There is room for four adults to sleep. Very clean room with fridge, TV, two small bottles of mineral water, tea maker, bright and modern furnishings. Looked like it had been newly renovated! I slept very well in bed. It was quiet all night long! I also booked breakfast. Breakfast left nothing to be desired (for an additional charge of €8). Conclusion: in the category, the best hotel I have ever slept in. Top value for money! Highly recommended!

It was super nice there, except that people were always smoking weed under our balcony and everything moved into the room... you couldn't enjoy the evening on the balcony because of the dirty smell

Smaller hotel, service was good. The double room was small and a little old. The bed was very old and perhaps should be replaced. There was a closet missing and in a double room I would also expect two chairs. The connection to the old town is very good thanks to the many tram lines. The breakfast is also good.

Check-in from 12.30 p.m. is okay.Unfortunately, the sockets in the room are switched via the ceiling light. This means that if the ceiling light is off, the fan, which works very well, doesn't work.Since our room faced the street and the traffic noise (both cars with and without loud music and roaring engines, as well as the tram can be heard very well) lasts until late into the night and - because during the week? - starts again early in the morning, the windows had to remain closed.Unfortunately, without a ceiling light, the switchable sockets don't work and so the "air conditioning unit" doesn't work either. And with the windows closed (and the sour smell of the room doesn't make it any better) and the street noise that can still be heard, that's a really bad combination, because sleep is scarce in the heat and the smell. So if you're not used to loud street noise, you should ask for a room facing away from the street.I am pleased that tea drinkers have a special service with a kettle and tea in the room in the morning. As a coffee drinker, I unfortunately looked into the empty cup because coffee was not offered (since there was no coffee milk, I assume it was methodical). You shouldn't be "too busy" in the bathroom, otherwise the entrance to the shower (very narrow) will be really tight. And the shower tray is so slippery when wet that I had to put my foot towel on the floor of the shower while showering. The lack of storage space in the bathroom is probably a fundamental hotel room problem?!Parking is actually not a problem. With a bit of luck, it's free right in front of the door - or for just 12.00 - a few meters away in a separate parking lot (although it's open at night and not guarded). The location?Good - various trams towards the center are in the immediate vicinity and the blue-yellow hop-on-hop-off line is also within walking distance.

My fears were unfounded, the hotel is very, very clean, my room was immaculate and felt pretty new. …

We were looking for a hotel with parking. The hotel has a parking space. In the questions under Booking this would be clearly answered in the affirmative, that there are parking bays on the street (subject to availability) and a hotel car park where there are sufficient parking spaces, a reservation is not necessary.During our conversation about arrival time and check-in, the parking situation was also referred to in exactly this wording. One would assume that you would get a parking space.Unfortunately, we discovered that night that this was not the case. When we arrived late in the evening, the public parking bays were full, which was to be expected. No problem, we thought, hotel parking lot 2 minutes away, then parking should be done after a 12-hour drive. There just weren't enough hotel parking spaces and everything was full. We then searched the entire neighborhood for a parking space - none.No public parking garages available.Until we finally decided on a place that was about 5 minutes away and also event. Parking was prohibited (the sign was not clearly decipherable). The next day the same game, once in the evening and another attempt a little later, no parking space available. In other words, this hotel is absolutely not recommended if you are traveling by car. There isn't even a public parking garage in the area. There was also a notice in the elevator stating that all visible items must be removed from the car, as car windows have been broken more often recently.

The hotel was functional and well located for the festival area. A little more expensive for the price and a bit shabby rooms. The breakfast was very tasty.
