The hotel is centrally located near the castle and not far from the Netto. Furthermore, the owner was very polite and friendly. Definitely recommended!

Wonderfully friendly atmosphere in the family-run hotel. Breakfast was freshly prepared to order. The small room facing the street was equipped with a rain shower - just right after a bike ride.There is also a beer garden in the courtyard with a variety of dishes. Very tasty and there is also a choice for vegetarians.All in all a great stay right on the Elbe cycle path.

We received a warm and friendly welcome, were informed about the 4 breakfast options and were then able to move into our beautiful room on the second floor. The room was clean and there was air conditioning (a very good idea when it was over 30°C outside)The hotel makes a very good impression, the breakfast room is cozy.There is a safe in the room, which unfortunately we didn't manage to use. Either it was broken or we were too stupid. Since we had an appointment for a celebration, we didn't bother. But we are sure that someone would have helped us if we had asked, because everyone was very friendly and attentive to us.The Ambiente Hotel Strehla is small but nice. Highly recommended.It would be desirable to be able to get something to drink from a trusted vending machine or cash register later in the evening.

The hotel is clean, the reception was friendly andthe breakfast is good and extensive.Because of sustainability, I think it's good that everyone can choose their own breakfast and there is no buffet.Unfortunately we had a little argument with the owners.My husband went through the automatic door and didn't understand that it opened by itself. The door slammed unsightly against the wall of the house, but there was no visual or functional damage.A hotel employee began a tirade of insults from the open windows that was second to none. Stupid guests who ruin everything because they're too stupid, etc.At first we didn't relate it to ourselves. But it quickly became clear that we were meant.When the owner came out and asked us if it was us, my husband reflexively said no.Very clumsy.The lady behind the windows continued to escalate and we began to feel uncomfortable.I went in to take a shower, then I was spoken to very unpleasantly by the owner, because of course the owner saw on the cameras that my husband was the culprit.I referred to my husband as the person to contact for the conflict and left.In any case it was incorrect to say that he was not.An escalation in this form is completely unnecessary.The next morning the owner was nice again and wished us a safe trip.

Room was small but comfortable. We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights over Christmas. Breakfast has to be booked separately but is tasty. Various types of coffee and tea are free. The guests are welcomed in a friendly manner and we are also asked every now and then whether everything is OK.

Very nice small family-run hotel. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was simply great, prepared with attention to detail. The day before we asked exactly how we wanted breakfast, which we hadn't had before. Just great. 😀
