I go to this youth hostel every year as a carer. You can feel comfortable there, considering the level of a JHB. It could be a bit cleaner and the staff is sometimes a bit overwhelmed by the number of visitors, so there was a double booking of leisure rooms. However, the solutions offered were satisfactory.

Note for ball fetchers: JH football pitch next to the sewage treatment plant. Otherwise ok.

The experience was particularly good as the site is very beautiful and the view is breathtaking without any noise and chaos. The repetition rate is very high.

With a very beautiful and quiet location, the Bad Lausick youth hostel near Leipzig is highly recommended. The entire staff including Herbert's management was super friendly and arranged. The food supply here has a very good price-performance ratio. There was always enough fruit and vegetables at meals. The rooms are adequate and clean for a youth hostel. We would be happy to check in there again when the opportunity arises.

Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy my stay at all. The service and friendliness of the staff and hostel manager leave a lot to be desired. There is no free WiFi, which no longer seems entirely up to date. The room facilities were ok. The food didn't taste good and there weren't enough vegetables on offer. All in all, a big disappointment! I advise against the hostel.

It's always nice in the JH Bad Lausick. The main and side houses are very well furnished, the food is great.This place is ideal for a stay as part of a rehearsal camp.Thank you very much and see you next year!

Food was good, but sick bed in the room and dirty bed linen. But the artificial turf was really nice. But unfortunately the drinks machine is not really intact and moldy drinks often come out. The door key broke and we had to pay the locksmith.

Worst youth hostel I've been in so far, I just had old socks and sticks in my bed and there were leftover chips in our room from previous visitors, take care of the cleanliness. It was so unsanitary and the food was just disgusting

We vacationed here as a family with two children and were very positively surprised. Before that, the last visit to a youth hostel was during our own school days and somehow we combined it with a stay in the youth hostel.Our stay in Bad Lausick last summer showed us that it is also ideal for families. Especially for the youngest child, who was 1 year old at the time, everything was available including a potty, high chair, children's dishes, etc. We found the staff to be always nice and accommodating. The food was good and we also appreciated the flexibility to eat lunch in the hostel or receive a packed lunch by arrangement. For example, it was ideal for a day trip to the Leipzig Zoo.Our room was equipped with three double bunk beds and a single bed. The room had a private bathroom with a shower. We also enjoyed using the outdoor facilities with the older child to play ball, etc.We felt very comfortable in Bad Lausick. Thank you for the lovely stay

I was there for a school trip and found it very bad because the rooms were disgusting and unclean, the showers were cleaned at least once and the rooms were far too small.The food was very tasty and freshly prepared, the dining room was beautifully designed and there was always fresh fruit.The staff was very unfriendly to us and was almost never available, but it was good that we were allowed to have a campfire.The program items were varied and very interesting. Overall, I still only give it 2 stars.
