Hotel and room itself as expected, unfortunately not cleaned properly and a huge clump of hair was found in the room upon arrival. When this was pointed out, they quickly apologized and one cleaning lady shifted the blame onto the other. For someone who comes from the hotel industry, it's absolutely disappointing to hear something like that among colleagues. The service at reception during the day seems absolutely unsympathetic. The service at breakfast is the complete opposite - both ladies I met there were friendly and had a positive attitude and took care of things immediately.

The hotel is a good starting point for excursions to the Lake Constance region. Very clean. If you skip room service you get a drinks voucher which you can redeem at the small hotel bar. When we arrived the elevator was out of service. Our room was on the third floor. There was no help with the luggage and only a terse apology. Parking was in the underground car park, so 4 floors up and down. The breakfasts of the following days were of the lowest standard. Baked rolls not fully baked, hard-boiled, cold eggs, canned fruit salad, small pieces of pastry that were quite fatty. Many guests asked for scrambled eggs but they weren't available. Coffee was goodEverything was there in the room except for the storage space on the bed on the right side. You could see that it had been torn down.

My customers were very satisfied, nice, clean business hotel, attractively priced. However, the negative thing is that you can't understand the gentleman on the phone. This is friendly but difficult. I didn't like the fact that you don't have the option to pick up or drop off a customer because you always have to pay in the parking garage. You used to get an exit number. Today you have to pay 10eu, even though I had almost 10 guests in the hotel. Sorry, but I certainly don't pay to drive guests to the hotel. The hotel has the benefit and they should be happy that I'm doing this.

The hotel offers late check-in which was very convenient. The location is great, everything is easily accessible. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and large, ideal for couples. Everything you needed was there - including an iron and a hairdryer. The parking space was also a plus. Gladly again

The room we got is very old and has a very musty smell. The double bed is 1.60 or 1.80 meters wide, also very cosy and even uncomfortable for big people. There is an old sleeping couch but not comfy. The hotel is situated right at downtown's edge, so restaurants and shops are close by. The garage costs 10€ per night. The breakfast has that strictly necessary and not the best quality. We didn't like it.

We came back from a strenuous bike trip and parkedour bikes in the underground car park. We then spent about 15 minutes trying to get access to the hotel from reception. When we then complained to the receptionist, Ms. Macaluso (we don't know if the name is correct, young woman with long black hair), she became mushy and told us that she was on the phone. That's why it couldn't open to us.For us, the behavior was absolutely unacceptable, which is why we are writing here.Kohlmann and Kalisch families
