Rarely do I write a review, but in this case I have to to highlight the wonderful experience! We invited us to the Sunday brunch buffet for our birthday party and were thrilled. As soon as you eat you can notice the attention to detail and the quality of the ingredients.Breakfast was a dream: wonderful scrambled eggs, fresh meatloaf and crispy pretzels. In particular, the cucumber salad with dill and the tomato salad with onions were reminiscent of grandmother's cooking - so delicious and traditional that you immediately felt at home.Things didn't get any less impressive for lunch. A whole salmon, perfectly served with fresh spinach, lightly and appropriately seasoned. Accompanied by a creamy mashed potato and steamed carrots and Brussels sprouts that melted in your mouth. The cream chicken was tender and flavorful, and the seasonal vegetables like beetroot and pumpkin curry complemented the variety perfectly. We were also impressed by the game goulash. The fresh fruit selection with pineapple, persimmon, melon, apples and pears left nothing to be desired. The cheese platter was excellent, with different types of semi-hard cheese, soft cheese and cream cheese. The selection of drinks was also great: juices from Sachsenobst, cocoa, sparkling wine, water and even mulled wine, with and without alcohol - all included in the price of €39. The salmon with honey mustard dressing rounded off the offering. The various rolls, even if frozen, were varied and fresh. The organizer was incredibly accommodating and pitched in himself. For the price you really get a rich and high quality Sunday brunch buffet. Since the lunch buffet changes, we look forward to returning soon and recommending it to others!

I stayed at the Stadtgut Mölkau from September 22nd. until September 25, 2024 as part of a group meeting. Unfortunately there are only double rooms and so the three individuals had to pay the same price of €85 per night as the couples in the double rooms. The furnishings of the rooms are simple, there was no room service during the entire time, and the ceiling lighting was broken. The breakfast for 15€ was a bit meager: baked rolls, little fruit, no boiled egg, no yoghurt or muesli. The €255 for the overnight stay had to be paid in cash. A receipt for this was refused and the promised delivery has not yet taken place. I've never experienced anything like this before.

We were there for brunch today. The location is really nice and we had a table on the terrace. The service was very friendly.Unfortunately the food was a total failure. For breakfast there was a bread basket, ready-made waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon and a very small selection of sausage and cheese. There was also only Nutella and a tiny selection of packaged jams. There is definitely room for improvement, no yoghurt, hardly any fresh fruit and vegetables. Lunch was similarly light. Pasta in bad tomato sauce, fish curry, chicken and other side dishes. For dessert, a container of chocolate and vanilla ice cream was tipped into a mold and mixed with the remaining fruit salad from breakfast. For €40 per person you simply expect more.

My impression from several visits and an intensive summer in the Stadtgut:Location: very nice place where everything from small events to large events is possible and can be implemented. This year there was the 700th anniversary of Mölkau event, several family events (May picnic, children's day, back to school), weddings, open-air football and theme evenings, as well as numerous live music offerings. I actually like the horse stable in every color scheme. The fireplace room is relatively sober but somehow nice and special with appropriate decoration and live cooking and, above all, a burning fireplace. I don't know much about the manor house, but I found it impressive in the exhibition, with very beautiful elements and a lot of potential. That has character. I love the terrace in every way.Service: small, nice team. Very committed, solution-oriented and also felt loving. Nothing to complain about - big plus point.Food: As a very critical eater, I can first congratulate you on your choice of wine. The crew catering at the 700th anniversary event was varied and delicious, the wedding menus look great (and seem to taste good too, from what you hear), the food at the theme evenings was of top quality and worth repeating and the brunch is also fine. Unfortunately, many providers have a manageable selection, but I don't think it's right to completely discount this one. The honey comes from the regional supplier and, although it can be expanded, the offer is common and comparable. More regional cooperation would certainly be desirable. The gagh here was the best thing I've ever eaten and the vegetarian burger with grilled cheese was top.Booking: Everything goes through the tenant and boss of the restaurant. Open to almost every idea, he makes everything possible here and at least I didn't let any of my (sometimes slightly challenging) ideas be rejected. The fact that the summer was so successful for the region was largely due to his uncomplicated, solution-oriented nature. Conclusion: I really appreciate the location as a whole package. Certainly could be improved in some areas, but thanks to the committed team and the creativity of the kitchen, it's an absolute recommendation. I'd love to come back. Top! 5 stars - heartfelt recommendation

Sunday brunch 09/22/24I rarely write reviews, but I decided to write one here to hopefully wake up the local operators! To be honest, I don't even know where to start as we as invited guests were completely horrified by such a meal/brunch. We are not experienced people, but we do have a certain expectation when it comes to food... because when I decide to visit a place, I also expect good service, food of decent quality (preferably regional products) and that too Food must be at an appropriately warm temperature. I'm sorry, but brunch was a complete disaster for us as a family and we weren't the only ones who felt that way!- no bakery rolls instead frozen goods- Salmon, which tasted like nothing and also looked unappetizing. The typical mustard-dill sauce and creamed horseradish, which many people eat with it, are also missing here!- For sausage there was ham, boiled ham and salami... where is the selection here?- the cheese was a run-of-the-mill piece of Gouda whole, as well as a few slices of butter cheese... where is the selection here?- Cucumber salad for breakfast?! We didn't understand at all! In addition, it was just sweet and not seasoned. Why not a vegetable platter with cucumber, peppers, radishes, etc.?- Tomato salad for breakfast?! The tomatoes were just "floury" and had no taste...why would you serve something like that for breakfast?! A tomato and mozzarella plate would have been more appropriate here, served with fresh basil...no big effort and always delicious!- Antipasti with zucchini, eggplant and sugar snap peas... the sugar snap peas had no strings removed and were just hard. Enjoyment is something else!- The packaged goods included butter, jam and one type of cream cheese. Packaged butter is perfectly fine, but why the jam and cream cheese?! Nowadays it really doesn't take much effort to make 2-3 types of cream cheese yourself, and the same goes for jam. Everything filled into bowls and nicely decorated looks great!- Bowl of yoghurt with chopped fruit, which didn't fit together at all. Why don't they make a fruit platter here?- The only egg dishes available were scrambled eggs. There was also a lack of choice here, because there are also people who prefer cooked eggs!- Bratwurst cut into small slices and fried. Isn't bacon more typical? At least I haven't seen this constellation at any brunch!- ready-made frozen pancakes- make thick wafflesThe breakfast was more than catastrophic for us, we thought it couldn't be worse! Now let's get to lunch...- Chicken with red sauce... never had such hard, dry chicken- Vegetables with shepherd's cheese...the cheese was hard, the vegetables were overcooked and tasteless, the potatoes tasted like they were from the day before- Fish with red sauce...no special fish (I guess pangasius), the taste was okay, nothing more!- 08/15 Rice with olives...I didn't understand it. What are olives doing in rice?- Pasta and spaetzle as an additional side dish- a container of Hokkaido pumpkin, green asparagus and I guess some kind of falafel balls...the balls were bone dry, the asparagus was overcooked and the pumpkin had no taste! In conclusion, I wonder what people were really thinking about this brunch?! Neither the breakfast contained high-quality food nor was it of any particular quality. Lunch was just cold, except for the fish, and none of the other guests filled their plates! If a chef had really prepared all of this, then the profession should really be reconsidered! Everything here really felt like maximum profit with minimal use of goods! 40€ per person is completely excessive for what is on offer! Stay away from brunch!!!

Yesterday we were invited to a back-to-school event and it took place in the Mölkau town estate. There was enough parking space. Visually really beautiful buildings. There was a nice waitress who was directly responsible for us and was available at any time. We sat in a former barn (my guess), it was very cozy and you could get a glimpse of the entire room through a curtain. This was very romantically decorated and more than suitable for a wedding. The buffet-style food was sufficient and tasty; beforehand you could get ice cream, drinks and bratwursts from a small house. There were several school entrances and for these there were 3 bouncy castles (in white, which was visually very nice), pony rides and a DJ (Andy Werner). The DJ was great because he got everyone involved. He particularly took part in songs for the children. That made him very likeable. We had a wonderful start to school. The team was always friendly and careful. Thank you for that!

We were invited to a wedding on September 9th. Great location, super nice and attentive service, no wish too much - some restaurants can learn a thing or two from this. Kudos to the owner and his team R3S-3613H!!! 👍

B&B located on the outskirts of Leipzig, very well connected to the city center, there are both buses and trains. Spacious room overlooking a very beautiful park. Spacious bathroom, with window. Very quiet. I was really very satisfied.

Unfortunately we were very disappointed. The previously agreed prices for overnight stay (€80) and breakfast (€11) were spontaneously and dynamically increased to €100/€15 on the day of our departure. In addition, people who had booked were forgotten at breakfast and greeted with the words “How many more are coming!?” The power cables for the televisions were either too short and did not reach the electrical outlets, or there were no connections for cable reception. It's a shame, the location is great, but the management doesn't take advantage of it.
