Overall a great hotel with friendly and helpful staff, close to the highway. Nice bed, good bathroom and more than excellent breakfast. Unfortunately, the information on the website does not entirely correspond to reality: there is no (real) restaurant, the rooms do not have air conditioning/minibar/kettle. Free WiFi is unstable, parking costs €12 per night online, but in reality the barrier is always open. Therefore lower overall rating.

The price-performance ratio for overnight stay with breakfast is very good. Extra services such as parking or drinks at the reception have a significant impact. The rooms are fine. However, I have never had rollaway beds in a hotel. As a result, my aKiss3n regularly disappeared into the resulting gap between the bed and the wall. Why?The hotel restaurant was closed, apparently due to a lack of staff. However, the capacities should be plannable for a long weekend. The lack of information is unfortunate. If you only realize that there is nothing to eat when you are standing in front of a locked door and can no longer drive, it is more than annoying.The breakfast is good. The actual dining room is too small so you may have to use less suitable seating in the bar. Two service staff are definitely not enough and therefore overwhelmed - but still always nice and courteous. The nearby thermal baths including sauna are not very demanding.Conclusion: Good, inexpensive starting point for tours towards Stuttgart. Bad Boll is of little interest to tourists. Maybe nature has something to offer when the weather is right.

Bad Boll is a village with nothing going on. I booked through Booking and got an update to a superior room. According to the description on Booking, these rooms are equipped with a bathtub and carpet. Nothing with a bathtub, nothing with a carpet, not even a refrigerator. A table with a stool in a room for 2 people. No air conditioning. According to the reception, there are no rooms in the hotel that match the description on Booking. For me it was just a standard room. The restaurant and bar were closed. Parking in the parking garage 12 euros per night. Even IN Stuttgart I “only” paid 9 euros. Is the car personally guarded, washed and vacuumed? The parking garage was an outdated concrete block. So we parked for free some distance from the hotel. Swimming for 6 euros extra. You could buy drinks at reception, but 5.20 euros is steep for a bottle of beer. With 3 beers you can buy a case.The hotel itself looks a bit worn out, but our room wasn't badly designed. However, the box spring mattress was so worn out that you almost sat on the mattress frame. Not good for your back.Conclusion: OK for overnight stay, but unfortunately nothing more.Reply to the reply from the owner:You're not serious about the parking garage?Bad Boll is not a big city. As I said, I paid 9 euros IN STUTTGART and that was an underground car park UNDER the hotel, which was much more comfortable and safer than your car park that is open on all sides. The underground car park even had electric car charging spaces, which I didn't check in your place and you could only get into the underground car park with a code, whereas anyone can get into your car park at any time.

I was part of a larger group that stayed at the hotel for three days. Afterwards I stayed there alone for three more days.What I liked: A beautifully decorated room with a large bathroom and large shower. The indoor swimming pool was very atmospheric, and there was a sauna and a bowling alley. The outdoor area is spacious and green. The breakfast was good.What I didn't like: There was only one stool in the room and nothing comfortable to sit on. There was also no refrigerator, no minibar, and no glass, bottle or kettle or anything similar in the room. The door locking system with the card didn't work well. Several of us, including me, were unable to enter the room straight away with the card.The parking deck and the single-story underground car park below cost an impressive 12 euros per day. However, the structural quality is very poor. The entrances and exits are very narrow and there are very sharp, high curbs on the edge. You have to maneuver the cars a lot and drive with great concentration in order to master the curves. By the way, most of the barrier system didn't work.When the three days with the group ended and my three days alone began, I suddenly couldn't get into my room. I was blocked because I was expected (without prior notice) to pay the price in advance when I arrived for these three days and not, as is usually the case, when I checked out. Unbelievable.While we were there as a group the service was poor. There may have been the usual shortage of skilled workers here. Sometimes drinks were written on the room number, sometimes on the table and sometimes not at all or twice. Sometimes you had to get the drinks directly from the kitchen, but there was a queue. The bar was closed on all three days, so you couldn't sit there comfortably in the evening and have a drink. The hotel lost a lot of revenue because the large group would have loved to spend time there.By the way, breakfast was served until 10:00 a.m. during the week. You should hurry, because at 10:10 a.m., when the employees have also finished breakfast, the vacuum cleaner may already be in use.The bottom line is that I have to say that I cannot recommend the hotel. However, anyone who only has a professional seminar or workshop will certainly be more satisfied here because the hotel is very spacious and there are many conference rooms. But I didn't find all the other points described here good. Personally, I wouldn't come back.

The receptionist was very friendly!The room, with a small balcony, is creatively designed, the bed is super comfortable, the bathroom has a large, walk-in shower.The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired and there was always enough of everything.The small swimming pool is lovingly designed, but costs an additional €6. The outdoor area is spacious and well maintained.I found 15 € per day for our Yorki to be quite generous, especially since there was no bowl or other things for him.A forgotten cell phone case with credit cards and money was kept for me and I think that's particularly worth mentioning because I've experienced it differently before! Promised services were not kept (the discussed dinner was canceled without replacement).The cleanliness of the bathroom was only satisfactory.Since we arrived in a group of 10 people and the booking was made by one person, it was not possible to settle the payment via a joint invoice. Each room had to be paid for individually upon check-in.

The room itself was fine. Nice spacious room. Bathroom was clean only the main shower was broken and we had dirty towels and broken towels.Reception was not really customer friendly. We were also told that the restaurant in the hotel was closed. There were people eating. It turned out that you could eat from the buffet there for 30 euros per person. So we chose to eat at an Italian restaurant, a 15-minute walk away. Nice food there.Hotel breakfast was fine.

The room looked neat, the beds were super soft, the mattress collapsed a lot, not good for the back. Very warm in the room, door and window open, heard a lot of noises from outside in the middle of the night from staff smoking and talking on the phone outside. The buffet in the evening was very poor, food was cold, few vegetables, lettuce was gone, very bad! Price/quality not in proportion.Breakfast very good, lots of choice and tasted great. Received a discount on the buffet at checkout
