The room was really nice and big and clean. The sauna area was small but nice, unfortunately not that many places to lie down. We didn't really like the selection at breakfast.

The room was clean but a bit worn out. Bed linen with some large holes! Towels were also worn out. Breakfast was very good, as was the fitness room and sauna.

Just outside, parking possible on the small side street. The hotel is on a very busy road. The cleanliness in the room leaves a lot to be desired. In bed you lie on the springs (a sagging spring mattress). The breakfast is good. Staff is friendly.

We became aware of the combination offer with tickets for Leipzig Zoo.We were warmly welcomed and accommodated in a suite as the hotel was very busy due to a seminar. The suite was not luxurious, but was very spacious with older furniture and signs of wear. The beds were comfortable and the room was largely clean. At breakfast, due to the high volume of people, you sometimes had to go several times to get the food you wanted, but the staff tried very hard to always refill the items in a timely manner. If you're willing to walk a few minutes, free parking is possible on the side streets. In 10-15 minutes you can reach the city center by car. A train station can be reached in a few minutes. We had 2 lovely days in Leipzig.

Initial situation: Booked for one night for the Within Temptation concert at Haus Auensee due to the proximity and the quite acceptable price.Situation found: The hotel presents itself as a seminar/conference hotel. From my understanding and after my visit to many other hotels of the same type, a higher standard 3-star + rather 4-star is to be expected. The outdoor area and the overall appearance of the hotel basically meet this requirement. But and here comes the big BUT in detail and I'll get to that in a moment.Despite all the following criticisms: I felt very well looked after in the hotel. So and now to the more unpleasant things:Rooms (hospitality aka hospitality):+ the room provided to me was really big, I've never experienced anything like that for a single room+ the room was fundamentally clean BUT- absolutely no information about the hotel and the surrounding area, neither on paper nor digitally (a no-go for a seminar hotel)- Information about Wi-Fi and such: Nothing was available and you were allowed to find out for yourself- 80s/90s look is not a problem but the furniture is now worn out as shown in the pictures- the duvet was nice and heavy and cozy, but the pillow was an absolute savings product and the absolute opposite of that- Negligence in cleaning the rooms everywhere, see mold in the joints in the shower cubicle, sticky residue from the hairdryer (see photos), etc.- Minibar was turned on but empty aka useless- Room safe was useless (no instructions, no usual 4-digit combination)- no glasses, kettle with tea bag supply or bottle opener- in short, the entire room was "sterile", no decoration, no welcome greeting in the form of chocolate or rubber toys, nothingTo sum it up: The hotel room itself was basically okay but far from having a welcoming atmosphere.Breakfast:* The staff was very attentive when clearing the tables+ Ugh, yes there was breakfast and it was essentially that of a 3-star hotel BUT and here again a very, very big BUT; I only give the 3 stars to the overall scope, not the quality- Half of the scrambled eggs were semi-liquid in both cast iron pots. Pancakes and sausages were also offered. Feel free to correct me, but from my many years of experience in similar areas, is this borderline in view of various regulations or is this not a raw egg product? ... (keyword keeping warm, etc.)- no fried bacon available?! Um, scrambled eggs and no fried bacon?! Really? I have never experienced a hotel of 3 stars and above in absolutely no hotel. An absolute fail! I've never experienced anything like that before and I've traveled to a lot of hotels both personally and professionally.- no fresh varied fruit- Sausage selection was very limited (3-4 types => 2-3 star level)- Roll was very small, half the size of the palm of my hand- only one coffee machine for the entire breakfast room? Nope, other hotels do this much betterConclusion: Offer does not meet 3-star level - and not even close for a seminar/conference hotel.I'll summarize it all briefly:If I were offered something like this as a participant in a seminar or conference, I would criticize the organizer as negatively as possible and recommend that they look for another organizer in the future. It was okay for my day stay. But nothing more. To classify my rating - it tends more towards 3- than 3+. I see that the basics are there, but based on the previous criticisms, there doesn't seem to be a timely and lasting response. Because a lot of this was also said by other guests.Ergo: just okay for one night - but as a seminar/conference hotel -> never ever. For my next visit to a concert in the Quartback Arena I have chosen a different hotel.
