Great location, easy check-in and check-out process and the cleaner was very nice but unfortunately the room wasn't great.We can confirm some of the other reviews.Bad toilet smell, ceiling light didn't work, loose sockets, pleated blinds were on the windowsill and we missed sockets.It should be mentioned that we didn't spend a fortune for the 2 nights (without breakfast); but standards should already be met.

First of all, we weren't greeted very warmly. We were given the keys and told us we had gotten an upgrade in the room, which was free. We thought it was great. We went to the better room and after a day realized that it must have been a downgrade. The light switches were badly dirty (maybe there was a fight) we don't know. But the TV on the wall didn't work. The operators knew this but didn't tell us anything. Showering was a horror, there was only a jet coming out of the shower head, when asked, an employee said it was calcified, so then just get rid of it 🤷♀️. Only one free socket in the entire room. And it goes on and on. There was a small DE Longie coffee machine there with a few pods that came with it. But not a cup, no milk, no sugar. Bathroom window didn't close after showering. And a really bad smell of sewage in the bathroom that didn't go away despite the window being open. An employee came and sealed it again with the note not to open it again. Boy Boy. All in all, ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED, BELIEVE ME.

Everything that was discussed was not adhered to, how can you treat your guests so disrespectfully.Collect money and that’s it.Never go back!!!

Doors are difficult to close and the heating doesn't work and there are only two plugs for charging and they're not even next to the bed but one by the TV and one by the entrance door 😖

A beautiful hotel whose location could hardly be better, as it is right at the beginning of the shopping mile and the harbor.The staff is friendly and accommodating in the restaurant.The rooms are clean and brightly decorated.Unfortunately, there is a lack of conveniently located sockets for charging cell phones these days, but that is bearable.Unfortunately, the fixed shower heads in the shower (rain shower) were never decalcified, which is why showering is definitely a problem.One of the night light lamps that was also installed was missing one of the glass lampshades, which is why they were also far too bright.Nevertheless, these are all problems that can be dealt with. The biggest problem, however, is when the morning cleaners remove the bathroom towels instead of changing them.Of the 4 previously available towels (2 bath towels for the shower and 2 hand towels), only the shower towels remained after today's clean-up operation. When the hotel staff asked to leave a towel in the room, this was accepted but not fulfilled.All in all, it was a good stay, but it was slightly dampened by the little things mentioned above.

Small, fine hotel in the middle of the Travemünde center. With the right orientation of the rooms, you can even watch the large ferries coming in and out; ours was facing the side street. The rooms are very spacious, the beds are extremely comfortable, the only drawback: there weren't enough sockets for us to charge the entertainment. Parking is possible on site for a fee, and even free after 6 p.m. to 10 a.m. Breakfast is lovingly served on a cake stand and leaves nothing to be desired. When I asked, I was also given more fruit, here the customer is king 😊. Thank you

Hotel is okay. Service nice. I forgot my iPhone charging cable there. The lady on the phone promised to send me the cable twice, unfortunately this never happened. It's a shame that something like this is still necessary these days.

Good hotel right on the harbor, clean rooms and excellent beds. Due to the location, there is sometimes road traffic, so sleeping undisturbed with the window open is only possible to a limited extent. With the window closed it is wonderfully quiet. Breakfast is served and is of good quality. Unfortunately no buffet.

We are a company and have booked two rooms there, unfortunately 14 days later we have not received an invoice for the rooms we have already paid for. The service on the phone was very nice, but the hotel management didn't respond at all and then just hung up.

The room itself was completely ok! What wasn't ok is the bathroom. The shower head was broken and was not replaced. The worst thing, however, was the smell of sewer. If you could have at least opened the window it wouldn't have been so bad. Unfortunately, this didn't work due to an unprofessional renovation work (see photo). The owner was aware of the defect, but did not know how to remedy it. Breakfast was great, we didn't eat anything else there, it was too expensive.

We booked the hotel as a starting point for our e-bike tour “Baltic Sea Coast Cycle Path”. The Melissa is a decent 3-star hotel. The location to the ferry to Priwall was ideal for us. But also for every visitor to Travemünde, as it is very central.

An older house directly at the ferry pier in Travemünde. Easy access via the restaurant on the ground floor. The room on the second floor was furnished in dark wood, something you rarely see today. The facility was old but clean and tidy. also the bathroom with a bathtub. We had a good dinner in the restaurant. The breakfast was also OK. The wish for fresh spelled rolls for breakfast was fulfilled. The e-bikes could be stored locked in the yard at the hotel.

Room a bit tight, socket in the bathroom torn out. Supposedly it happens again and again. Which is nonsense once it's properly repaired. The location is great. The breakfast and the service too. I still think 139€ is too expensive for one night. It is and remains only one night. Holidays in Germany will soon no longer be affordable
