We ate at Heidekrug today and have to say if there were 10 stars it would definitely be 10 stars! The service was friendly and very nice and the food was very good, it didn't take long and the dishes were still very hot! Thank you for the great service!

We always enjoy being there. If you're looking for absolute peace and quiet, you've come to the right place. Pure nature. You can explore the area by bike or go for a walk. A small swimming lake with private access at the hotel, table tennis possible, a small playground for the little guests, great breakfast, the rest of the food is also very tasty. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. We'll be back 🙂

We were treated very kindly by both the hotel and restaurant staff.There's nothing wrong with the location. We enjoyed the fantastic view of the lake. The dishes were recognizable as convenience food even from the perspective of a layman like me. Solid meal, no culinary surprise… just fills you up.The interior is not really inviting, but it is still authentic and has a certain charm.

We wanted to visit the restaurant comfortably by the lake. Nice and well-kept impression. So we sat on the beautiful terrace for almost half an hour and waited for the waiter, who had already spotted us. So my husband went in to finally speak to a waiter. The restaurant is full of a tour group of pensioners. So we were told that today we were only cooking for pensioners and that the kitchen was overwhelmed with normal food. So we had to leave hungry again. On the way back we checked again whether it was really open. And yes the signage said open.It's sad that we stopped here specifically.

I ate at Heidekrug again and I can tell you it was absolutely delicious. The eye also had a lot of fun looking at this plate of "Anglerglück". The service was extremely nice and was there to help and advise.The hotel is right on the lake with a large lawn, table tennis table, play equipment and a large chess set. You can also rent a boat from the hotel. So just pure relaxation!!!!

We went to the Heidekrug for the Christmas party with a large tour group. The goose leg with red/kale and Thuringian dumplings was a real holiday treat. The service was great, very concerned about our physical well-being. We also looked at a hotel room for our next short vacation planning. The location of the hotel is perfect for our needs with a car, bicycles and possibly a canoe, and the food and service are great. The hotel is definitely one of our next travel destinations. We would like to thank the entire team for the lovely pre-Christmas day.

The location is a dream... But that's the only thing that can be considered positive. You are greeted with a frown and cheeky sayings. That immediately left us speechless. You immediately feel like you are not welcome. We then got up straight away and left without consuming anything. Apparently this location can still afford to scare away customers with poor service staff. It's a shame actually...

We were there with 11 people around 1 p.m. to have something to eat. A greeting was immediately omitted. However, there were annoyed looks and the comment: “Another clan. I had a family like that yesterday and the day before.” A dead fly was waved with the card from the table, almost onto our laps. Comment from the waiter: “We don’t want to have skeletons on the table.” Furthermore, general unfriendliness and impudence were the order of the day. We then drove on without eating because we had lost our appetite.Not recommended!…Unfortunately despite the beautiful facility.

Magical location on a small lake.Unfortunately, we didn't get any food on Sundays after 6:00 p.m. in the high season. Even if there is a staff shortage here, that is the culinary death knell!I didn't rate the hotel.

The place is beautiful, no question! We wanted to have a nice meal on the way home and decided to eat there.BUTVery incompetent the staff very very unfriendly. Questions were answered sloppily. We will never live there again, let alone eat there. Impossible!!!!!!
