On October 3rd The Waldhof offered a “game buffet”. We reserved a table there and didn't regret it. The reception was really friendly, the table was lovingly set. After the first drinks were ordered, the buffet opened. From soup to different types of meat (venison, roe deer and duck as well as wild salmon) to side dishes and dessert. There was something for everyone and everything was delicious. The chef even came over at the end and personally asked if everything was okay.Many thanks to the entire team. That was a great idea and was very well received by us (my parents even drove 300 km to come with us). Just keep it up - stay friendly and funny and just a great team.

I have visited the Waldhof on several occasions.I will always have fond memories of my wedding; the Waldhof team left no wish unfulfilled.Since then, the restaurant has been visited once a year.My child was recently baptized here and there was an excellent cake buffet.

We celebrated our wedding at the Waldhof at the end of August. The location is super nice and quiet. The organization of our celebration was professional and reliable right from the start. The food was simply outstanding – our guests are still raving about it! The service was also first class; Every wish was virtually read from our lips and we felt completely comfortable and pampered. The overnight stay at the location was also wonderful. The rooms were comfortable and lovingly furnished. We would definitely recommend the Waldhof.

Calm and quiet area even though we ended up there during a wedding party. It is a bit out of the way and difficult to find a place to eat if you check in late.Nice staff and perfectly okay breakfast, but the apartment room we got was full of cobwebs and even in the shower there were insects. Signs of poor cleaning I can see even if it's in the middle of the forest.Very thin and fluffy pillows. Difficult to lie high.

A beautiful wedding location, perfectly located in the middle of nature and with a great barn for the party. In addition, very tasty food, friendly and courteous staff and charmingly furnished rooms. Both in the garden when the weather is good and in the rooms or in the tent next to it, a worthy setting is created for every wedding, even if the weather isn't great.The family atmosphere makes you quickly feel at home there and even if a misunderstanding arises, they quickly make sure that everything is as you imagine it. All in all, an absolute recommendation and we would be happy to come back!

A wonderful place to get married. Daughter and son-in-law. Everything was just right. Such a great ambience, empathetic staff, beautiful rooms, everything was well thought out and leaves nothing to be desired! The fact that the weather was great is of course an additional "lucky bonus". Thank you very much for wonderful hours and nice togetherness

Great event location for a wedding!We celebrated our wedding in May 2024 at the Hotel Waldhof, including a civil wedding on site. We liked the location straight away when we visited it and choosing the Waldhof was an easy one. Our expectations were not disappointed: communication and organization was very easy, requests or questions were answered promptly and our guests also praised the location itself, the grill buffet and the bar. The staff are super helpful. The Waldhof is somewhat remote in nature, which is particularly nice in May.Our guests (approx. 50) were able to stay overnight directly on site. Due to the rather small group size, we were unfortunately unable to get a Saturday appointment on site. Nevertheless, we can fully recommend the Waldhof. Thank you for the great celebration!
