The lady at the reception is very uncooperative and unfriendly. For her, the customer's wishes come last. The tone and language towards a paying customer is really unbearable. The surroundings at Schaalsee are beautiful. Due to the unfriendly treatment I would not book there again.

I agree with B SCH's review. We had already had a long journey and could only check in until 7pm. We called and the key was ready. Top!! We have a tent trailer. We disconnected it from the car to have a quick bite to eat.A very unfriendly man comes to us asking if we could take 1 parking space. We wanted to explain that we were going to leave by car. He didn't listen to that. The man made threatening movements and walked away angrily. We were left surprised and with a bad feeling. The 1 star for service really goes to this man.Room and breakfast and also the lady at breakfast/reception were excellent!

When we arrived on Friday we were treated so unfriendly, it was a disgrace. The room was promised for 3 p.m., but it wasn't ready yet. “You can’t do magic.” My answer: I'm not asking you to do any magic, just that the room is ready, as I was told in writing and verbally. I was traveling with two children, ages 2 and 7, and drove for three hours on the highway in the heat. Then I was approached and told to wait outside. After 15 minutes of waiting I was called in and given the key. I then said: “Well, we probably got off to a bad start.” I was then insulted again: “You were so unfriendly.” I wanted to explain myself, but I no longer had the opportunity, my mouth was shot: "Now go out, out, take the key, out."Is this still the old East? The lady was around mid-50s.Owner?The next morning a young woman was on breakfast duty and treated us as a waitress should.Never again country house on Schaalsee.

I received a very nice and friendly welcome here. My room number 9 was clean throughout, furnished normally (at least not old-fashioned), comfortable and quiet. The bathroom was also clean and completely okay. I personally found the mini snacks directly on the dessert for 6 euros a bit unnecessary and too intrusive. Unfortunately (as is often the case) I missed a small suitcase shelf.The breakfast was sufficient and had everything you need, delicious coffee and one or two small highlights.Conclusion: completely okay for the price and clearly recommended.

I'm traveling for business again and didn't want to drive so far from the construction site.It worked.It's super cozy here. Very nice bright rooms.You have everything you need and you can even sit on a kind of balcony hallway in front of your room and let the evening end.For a few days of peace and relaxation, you've come to the right place. And the surroundings are just great for relaxing and walking..

A centrally but quietly located country house/pensionthe staff is super nice, small extra requests are fulfilled straight away (a second pillow, a refrigerator, or a kettle, tea + cup for my husband who was sick) the breakfast was very good, large selection and everything fresh, we can do that We can only recommend the country house, we will definitely come back, the nature is unique
