A beautiful house to stay at in Munduk! Our family of 6 had more than enough rooms to stay in - beds were comfortable and there were so many cozy nooks and gathering places. Really enjoyed the service the staff provided - amazing breakfasts and dinners! The view from the deck/pool = amazing. Would definitely stay here again!

Munduk Mountain Estate is one of the best villas I’ve stayed at in Bali, and I’ve stayed at a lot! This one is done so well, with incredible attention to detail. It was way too big for our family of 4 - be sure to take some friends along.Every room in this villa has an incredible view. There is a kids room that sleeps up to 6, huge bathrooms with bathtubs and a gourmet kitchen. The pool and hot plunge pool are deluxe! The gardens are stunning and we loved the coffee trees right below us. There is also a room that is quite separate below the 3 other rooms - good for a couple without kids if they need some space.The villa is remote, meaning it is quiet and you’ll love roasting marshmallows on the fire outside that the staff will set up for you. There is an on site chef who will make you breakfast and you can opt for other meals on site as well.The staff are so helpful, from building fires, suggesting local activities to making tea - it is like having hotel amenities right in your own private villa. I also liked that staff have their own area up the hill where they stand by so you don’t feel like someone is always hovering around.I can not recommend this villa enough if you want a mountain experience in Bali!

All the beds were super comfortable, and we also enjoyed buying a bottle of great red wine during our stay. From delivering nourishing pots of tea in the clouds by the infinity pool to preparing loving meals daily, every detail was taken care of with such warmth and attention.The property itself is a haven of tranquility, and we cherished every moment spent there, whether it was visiting nearby waterfalls, relaxing by the fire each night, or just soaking in the fresh mountain air.We really hope we can return to Munduk Mountain Estate in the future. It’s a perfect retreat for anyone looking to experience the true beauty and hospitality of Bali.

Almost hesitant to write this review because I want to keep this exquisite place all to ourselves! Such a beautiful view, pristine and luxe home, wonderful staff. Loved all the toys and special things for kids too. It was beyond perfect for our two family get away 😍 thank you so much!

Wow, what a stunning place this is. The property is exceptionally beautiful. There is heaps of space and all fittings and furniture are the very highest standard. Around every corner are more beautiful views over the mountains. As a place to stay this is the most lovely I’ve ever seen.There is a hot/cold plunge pool experience on the deck which was particularly amazing after climbing one of the local mountains.The team at Munduk Mountain Estate are absolutely lovely, nothing was too much trouble.I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Also so much to do in the area. Stunning waterfalls, mountains, lakes, massage. I will definitely be back !

And as for the views - AMAZING! The panoramas of the surrounding mountains and jungles are truly magical!The staff were super attentive - a big thank you to Arik, Rudi, Reza & Gede who catered to our every need. From lighting fire pits to acoustic guitar playing, they were great! Also Garret & Desi in the kitchen who provided us with tasty meals each day.The whole experience was a real once in a lifetime memory, and if you’re looking for a special Bali getaway, do yourself a favour and book here! Lived in Indonesia for 13 years but never been to Munduk. Munduk Mountain Estate is the perfect base to explore this amazing area. We found so much to do and could have stayed longer!The house is great with three spacious bedrooms - the kids room with the bunk beds is really cute and the kids loved it. The living room is huge and has a fire that we lit every night and the kitchen is well equiped with a view to die for! The deck around the house is beautiful and the hot tub certainly got used a lot too!There are a bunch of restaurant options nearby (Ulekan is particularly good) but we mostly cooked at home. We brought some of our own food and the in house chef (who speaks good English) went shopping for us at the local market. He even helped us to set up and cook on a bbq on our last night. The other staff are friendly and communicated through a groupchat. This meant we felt the house was really private but they would come in a second if we messaged them.Overall amazing!
