When entering the Marriott Hotel in Schwerin, you are immediately greeted by a subtle aura of sophistication. The monumental space of the lobby seems to flow with a majestic echo that soothes the senses. The staff - as impassive as ancient statues - slowly, but with surgical precision, ensures silent registration. The breakfast, although minimalist in form, is characterized by an unprecedented harmony of flavors - simple but filling, like a masterpiece of culinary modernism. The size of the dining room gives a sense of spaciousness, like a contemporary art gallery, where every movement is body poetry.However, there is a certain chill in the rooms, as if the echo of a distant winter was creeping through the window cracks. It would seem that subtle waves of icy air introduce a breath of existential melancholy into the interior. The request for an additional duvet was met with an unwavering refusal - minimalist luxury knows no compromises. Still, the comfort of the bed enveloped my body like a cosmic cocoon of peace. This hotel, full of contradictions, is a harmonious symphony of aesthetics and cold elegance.

The double room was on the 2nd floor and was intended for one night. Very large and comfortable bed. The bathroom was equipped with a bathtub, which is supposed to function as a shower. Because the shower screen is firmly installed right next to the faucet, which makes it really difficult to operate. Warm water feels like it takes forever and then it's really just warm.

Nice hotel, but some of the amenities were missing, such as a wardrobe. There were still plenty of hanging options. However, we didn't know if there was a wardrobe because a possible wardrobe could store additional things such as extra pillows or a hairdryer. We simply left our things in our suitcases or stowed them in a drawer. But the room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. It was also quiet in the room, even though we lived right next to some kind of highway, and the food was delicious too! The staff also makes a nice impression.

So I was there with my wife for a few days and we were very happy with the hotel, including everything around it.10 minutes to the city center and the castle, right next to the hotel is the seven lakes center where you can get everything you need and are only a 5-minute walk from the hotel.Breakfast buffet was also great.So everything in one perfect and optimal.

Were there from 10/4/24 to 10/7/24.The hotel is very clean, rooms are very modern and the breakfast is very good.It is ideal for people/couples traveling by car as it is right on the main road.

The hotel has been beautifully renovated, the rooms are modern and comfortably furnished, the bathrooms are small but OK. The entrance and reception of the hotel are also modernly furnished.However, I am very disappointed with the food/restaurant in the hotel. We ordered a bread basket in the evening. For an unbelievable €18.50!!! 4 slices of bread, 3 slices of meat sausage, 2 slices of cheese and 3 slices of salami and mustard! This is an absolute disgrace. The House should really reconsider this. In addition, the waiter was very slow and not very accommodating.Eating here, absolutely not recommended 👎👎

The hotel is sufficient for a short trip to Schwerin. We had a clean, small room with a really small bathroom. But it was okay for two days.The breakfast buffet was also OK. However, the breakfast room was very full, luckily we still found a place. However, the staff seemed quite stressed.There is a large parking lot directly in front of the hotel, but it was very full late in the evening.Check-in and check-out went quickly and smoothly. Parking costs (€5 per day) and the Schwerin accommodation tax were added to the booked price on the day of departure.The price for the two days was quite high, but the other hotels were already fully booked. This was one of the cheaper accommodation options directly in Schwerin.

We can recommend the hotel without reservation!The only thing that really needs to be worked on urgently is the breakfast situation! Both days you didn't get a seat at all during peak times and sometimes you had to clear away the dirty dishes from the previous person and/or everything around you looked like a mess for long periods of time! At times it had a bit of a youth hostel feel! There simply needs to be more staff! Otherwise we were satisfied

Nice hotel, newly renovated, rooms comfortable and well equipped, but could have been a little cleaner, especially the bathroom and toilet were not so clean.Bed was comfortable and staff very friendly.I would definitely book here again.

You can get a canteen meal for 27 euros. Breakfast bad rolls, scrambled eggs only lukewarm. Very clear. Not recommended.Hotel is very old.

The rooms are neat and clean. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is sufficient. There is nothing to see except the 7 Lakes Center. But there is a bus that goes directly into the city and you can reach the castle in 15 minutes by scooter or bike

The hotel itself is ok. The approach to payment is disgraceful. To be on the safe side, the credit card authorized the entire bill amount + 25 euros per day for the minibar - which was otherwise empty - in advance. The customer will NOT be informed about this. You have to ask. After the end of the stay I paid the bill. However, the previous authorization was NOT deleted. It took several emails and calls and the threat of legal action for the previously authorized amount of over 500 euros to be canceled! The cancellation for the visit to the bar (the credit card was charged again to be on the safe side) has not yet occurred!

Hotel booked directly, too expensive compared to other providers, room very noisy with the window open, restaurant and street, not a preferred location as we are used to when booking directly, we do not recommend the hotel.
