Very nice campsite, nice staff and very helpful. The harbor and the beach are only about 10 minutes away on foot. The sanitary facilities on site are all clean and well maintained. We've been there for two weeks now. The rolls are good. We will come back for the third time next year. MFG. Meinokat

The reception was friendly - we even got something to nibble for the dog. The “main street and some of the parking space are very muddy after rain. The washhouse on the site was great - clean, hot water and nothing was run down. SAT reception was not functional due to the tall trees in the park next door, but there are worse things. The WiFi was very good. It's a 5-minute walk to the beach, but swimming is only possible on the dog beach. Dog beach and walking options ok. Ferry to Stralsund can be reached in 10 minutes.In the low season with a dog €29 per night including electricity, water, showers etc. there is nothing to complain about. Even coming and extending without a reservation was no problem. I would come back.Only in the north of the island is there still a lot of driving, you should know/keep that in mind. Of course the campsite can't do anything about it.

Super nice parking space can only be recommended 👍 it's about a 5 minute walk to the water. Sanitary facilities are clean and well maintained, the shower heads should be replaced or descaled. It takes about 20 minutes to cycle to Stralsund. With a great view 👍👍👍

Came to the campsite with Wowa in mid-August. We were there for 10 days with our two dogs. We liked it very much. The view of Stralsund was unique. The dogs were also thought of. There are sufficient dog bags and disposal options available. We also really liked the layout of the space. The sanitary facilities could perhaps be a little more. But they were clean. A great, uncomplicated operating couple who were open to all questions. A plus for waste disposal too. No central place, but bins and bottle crates at intervals that were regularly emptied. If we visit the island of Rügen again, we would like to come back to this campsite.

The place is good so far. Showers and toilets are ok. There is a small shop on site that sells bread rolls without pre-ordering. The internet is very good. The crows come in the evening. Then some of them sit in the trees. But it was ok for us. Staff is nice. Price performance is ok.

Nice little place with lots of long-term campers. I had a top spot for my mini camper with shade from 10am. It was just great for me and my dog when it was mostly 30 degrees. There is a small, secluded forest right next to the square. The sea is within reach, the dog beach is also ok. However, you have to provide your own shade right next to the water. With the "Beach House" + the "Athos", both restaurants are just a few minutes' walk away, as well as the harbor with small dining options, you have everything in the immediate vicinity. I felt very comfortable.The location is great, as is the service. However, points are deducted for the sanitary facilities. 3 offers spread over the whole square, you have to walk for quite a while. The toilets at the designated place for tents are not ok at all.

A simply great camping site at the very beginning of Rügen opposite Stralsund. If you are looking for peace and quiet and still want to do something, this is the right place for you. Nice operators, clean facility, you can have a great breakfast on the spot, price performance is absolutely ok.

The campsite is in a perfect location right by the sea, which makes the stay very pleasant. A wonderful place for beach lovers and nature lovers. However, more attention should be paid to cleanliness. It would also be nice if the café and shop were open longer to offer guests more flexibility.

We spent a wonderful 14 nights in a pleasant and attractive place. For us it was a good start (freshly baked rolls every day, thanks also to Anki's Backshop) and end point (idyllic peace for dinner) for our daily activities.Thank you again for the congratulations on the wedding.Conclusion: Nice clean place.We are very satisfied and wish you only nice guests and all the best.Kind regards from Nicole and Peter

I was on a bike trip around Bergen and Altefähr was my first stop. I arrived at sunset which does not make it easy. Communication before was super easy and the personal was very reactive per email. I was staying in the tent area at the end of the camping and the showers, which are written “central” on their website, but were a good 5min walk away. Fine but not central. There is a weird shower system and my shower did not have any hot water. Also, keep in mind that there is no beach to swim, as far as I understood. Overall an okay place to start or end the bike trip but not a place I would stay for a full week.

Small, well-kept campsite, clean sanitary facilities, showers included, cooking facilities, bread roll sales and snack bar on site, short walk to the beach and harbor. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We were there for the second time and would love to come back.
