Were here in the school camp with 20 people. Very committed host, super delicious food, beautiful grounds, great surroundings for hiking... Very child-friendly! All the “small defects” are being worked on and it certainly won’t be the last time I’ve been there with a school class!

We were there last night with our class reunion, it was a booked date and I was really looking forward to it. As on my first visit, the food was very good, but then the worst thing happened: we had to leave again at 9 p.m. because that was when the waitress got off work.The landlord would have let us stay until 10 p.m., but then it was over.We had to find a new place to stay for the rest of the celebration.There was a self-catering party in the garden that really got going at exactly that time.Conclusion: The host showed 15 people yesterday that it's better not to go to the Nature Friends House.

We were there with 2 adults and 2 children with a dog, it was a spontaneous overnight stay, we were given a very friendly welcome and had a drink in the beer garden in the evening. A really great breakfast awaited us in the morning. We felt completely comfortable and will definitely come back.

Very tasty food, great staff, wonderful location. There is also a nice playground for children and a beer garden. A place to feel good. There are sleeping spaces in the house and parking spaces for tents in the garden.I'd love to come back 😊

We had a very pleasant time in this establishment. The service is good value for money. The setting is conducive to relaxation. The sun was out on the day of our arrival, which was very appreciable for contemplating the surrounding nature. As perched high up in the valley the calm and serenity left us feeling invigorated. The dishes were very good. I highly recommend staying at this property. Both atypical and conducive to relaxation. Thank you for your welcome.

The FA’s trust bell. Schaeffler Bühl have on 7 p.m. A two-day seminar about the IHM Offenburg was held on April 20, 2024.The seminar was also a complete success because of the very good catering provided by the operator of the Naturfreunde Haus. Lunch was great and sufficient.Grilling in the on-site party grill in the evening was so great that the season lasted a little longer.The breakfast was very nicely prepared and everyone found something.General rating:The Naturfreundehaus Großer Wald is recommended and we were definitely not there for the last time.

We were guests at the Naturfreundehaus in mid-January and were thrilled! The rooms are furnished according to the price, comfortable and serve their purpose. The food is awesome! A chef who knows his craft, very accommodating and always in a good mood. The service is very helpful and friendly. We were able to extend our stay without much fuss and felt completely comfortable. You can tell that the owner puts his heart and soul into it. Great hiking recommendations!! If we get “stranded” in the area again, we’ll definitely come back! Thank you for your hospitality and the great stay!

Was there the second time. By S-Bahn from Karlsruhe to Gaggenau and by bus to Michelbach. Hiking enthusiasts will be rewarded with great hiking trails here.The food was so great and I felt totally comfortable.

My review refers to two visits in November 2022 and January 2023:The food there is ok/good, but you have to check the information on the menu carefully! Anyone expecting fried meat will quickly be disappointed. Depending on the dish, the portions are either very small or quite generous. So it's best to give feedback! This is the only way the host can improve something.Personally, I've enjoyed it so far, even if I expected something different!The service seemed to be quite new both times. Occasionally forgot something and had difficulty cashing in correctly.Personally, I find the economy itself rather cramped and uncomfortable. It's so drafty at the window that you have to put on a jacket and when smokers go out on the balcony to smoke, all the smoke blows into the hall.The noise level from the open kitchen was quite high on both of our visits. There was also a strong smell of burnt cheese.The half-height gray shell chairs are probably intended to create a feeling of coziness, but they don't really fit well on the narrow tables and you don't want to stay seated for long, especially if you're tall and have long legs. I found it very cooped up.The menu was in small print and was one A5 page on a wooden stand. The drinks menu is pinned directly above it, which I found annoying.I missed any children's meals for my two children.Strange that my recession was reported (even though I can't find any apparent reason for it!) So now a second attempt.

A great placeImmediately in the nature. a colorful mix of motorcyclists to campers with whom you can easily get into conversation - which is even more beautiful and important than ever in times of changeCleanliness impressive...waste separation (but you have to get into it first...Although the campsite on the meadow and the rooms were well occupied, they were surprisingly quietIf you book breakfast in the evening it is varied and plentifulFacilities a bit youth hostel simplicity but price is also the lowest in the season and areaI will gladly come again
