Very conveniently located at the train station.It's only a 5-minute walk to the Holstentor.Rooms are fine.Breakfast is excellent, everything is available.I couldn't notice any of the loudness that was often described.

The hotel is in an ideal location for exploring Lübeck.However, the furnishings in the room irritated us, no closet, no facilities in the bathroom...and since I'm not very tall, I could have used a ladder to get into the comfortable box spring bed.The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was very good, with a large selection.

Rooms are very tidy and comfortable.The water temperature is great and the breakfast is very solid.There are even earplugs in the room because of the proximity to the main station.

The hotel is directly opposite the train station, so very central. Parking for those arriving by car is around the corner (5€/day). The room was nice and clean, the bed was comfortable. Because of the sometimes higher noise level from outside, every guest is given earplugs, which I also see as good service. The bar & reception are open 24/7. The breakfast offers enough choice and was very filling! The entire staff was very nice & accommodating. All in all it was a pleasant stay at the hotel. I would book it again despite the not very cheap prices.

Unfortunately, it's more bad than good, but the house could be a real treasure address in Lübeck. The reception staff is really positive, as they are really friendly and accommodating. On the other hand, single rooms are so small that it was only possible to get air in with the window open. No cupboard or shelf, just a small bar next to the TV. Bathroom is just as small, dark and almost dangerous if you want to get out of the shower. The room was clean upon check-in, however the daily cleaning and towel change was poor. No towels left, instead all the hair you left in the morning was still there. Actually, only the trash cans would be emptied, nothing more. It's a shame but the truth. But the worst thing was breakfast, where things from the day before were put there every day, possibly warmed up. Visually more appetite-reducing than lasting. I had a boiled egg that was already black inside and smelled. When I spoke to the young HR employee, he just looked uninterested, nothing more. Tables with crumbs from previous guests while staff stood passively. There was a disgusting dirty tea towel on the radiator. However, I also believe that the wage level is most likely not sufficient to motivate these employees. The whole thing is actually sad, as it could have been a good basis for something great. I won't go there anymore, but there are and always will be people who do that, at least for the first time

I was currently in the hotel for 5 days with breakfast and felt completely comfortable. The location is perfect opposite the train station, the hotel is hip and modern. The staff was super friendly, I immediately felt like a regular guest. Room 308 is really nice, with a large TV, Teufel sound system, box spring bed and seating area. To start the day, a wonderful breakfast, beautifully presented and with a lovely atmosphere. So when I'm back in Lübeck, I'll check in here.

I've been traveling a bit more than usual lately, I like taking photos and so I'm out and about here and there. The Hotel the niu Rig is very conveniently located right next to the main train station in Lübeck. Perfect for excursions by train - you're practically right at the train station.Top rooms, top service, the staff are very friendly and hospitable. You don't see it that often these days. Everything great! If I stay overnight in Lübeck again, I hope you will have some free time. Thank you for this great experience.

The hotel is certainly conveniently located. For me it's completely overpriced, I don't find the breakfast - well... the fact that the guests are addressed as "you" cool at all, but rather disrespectful. I'm just not coming back.

The hotel is perfectly located. You come out of the main train station, across the street, right next to the path to the central bus station. It's about a 5-10 minute walk to the Hostentor or the city center.The reception was friendly, you are immediately addressed.I have a single room with a small bathroom, it's all a bit tight. If I were a little fatter I would have a problem with the shower. It's fine for two nights. Unfortunately there was no way to put the suitcase down, I didn't want to unpack it, and there wasn't much storage space either. That's a little annoying. Today is a hot day and unfortunately there is no air conditioning. Opening the windows became a problem because the central location is also loud. But there are earplugs that unfortunately don't help me. You don't hear anything from other guests, it's very quiet.Internet not always stable.Breakfast is great, everything you need is available and relaxed and quiet, even if you have more breakfast.What I didn't like was that a technician had to check on the television because another guest had probably broken it. I happened to be in the room if I hadn't been there... I just forego room service and leave all my private things out in the open.

A broom closet of a room! We are really slim people, but what the hell were they thinking? You could only turn in place and that was the end.... No space at all to put your suitcases anywhere, no cupboards, just a storage cube that is just in the middle of the aisle, which also narrows the aisle even further. You can't get the bathroom door all the way open because otherwise it would hit the "wardrobe". The small towels were dirty with make-up stains when we arrived, we complained about them at reception and were given new ones. Of course you can't leave windows open at night because the central bus station is very loud, which is really great at 30°C 😭, of course there was no air conditioning. Beds were ok. The toppers made it a little more comfortable, but they also kept slipping back and forth. We didn't have breakfast there, so we can't comment on that. 3 days for 460€, sorry but for the money we have stayed much better and more comfortably.

The two of us were there for 3 days and paid just under €600. Breakfast costs extra €14.50. Considering the price, I expected more. The room is nice and clean but also very small, there is no air conditioning (free fans), no closets or enough storage space. Free Wi-Fi, when asked, found no mention of it. You will also look in vain for refrigerators. There is 1x free earplug because the train station is very loud. At breakfast there was a selection but it was more run-of-the-mill, no fish or anything special. I've had a much better breakfast for less money. The staff were friendly. 0.7l of water costs €7. I don't think the price-performance ratio is right
