At Wiesbauer you can eat and drink rustically and well in a pleasant atmosphere. Children are also welcome, they have a very nice playroom in the basement. If we are in the region we will definitely visit the Wiesbauer again.

We stayed at the Wiesbauer for 4 days. Good location, very friendly and attentive staff. Breakfast buffet rich and good. We were not at all satisfied with the food, tasteless finished food. From early in the morning until late at night the train passes the hotel honking, which is quite annoying. The operator can't do anything about that, but he can do about the strong smell of manhole that permeates the suite for 24 hours. During the day the smell was reduced by tilting the balcony doors, but at night with the (noise) windows closed it became almost unbearable. When the complaint was made, the defect was apparently known. Conclusion: Good location, good staff and nice sauna, but we won't come back.

We were there for dinner. And as I always say: "Taste is debatable." But that's not the point. The food was okay. But in a fast food joint the food is also okay and costs less.In addition, there are careless plates left there (without "salad decorations" or anything else) and inattentive (in my opinion, poor) service!Bottom line, we probably won't come back!

Beautifully located with a fantastic view of Neuschwanstein and Lake Hopfensee. Good free parking in front of the door. Restaurant cozy, breakfast very simple but tasty. Menu appealing, unfortunately the pumpkin soup was a disaster and neither the waitress seemed surprised nor interested. Reception very friendly. Room ok, but not more. Bathroom mini with a tiny sink which led to flooding just when washing hands.Sauna was nicely done, but there were no towels or bathrobes available.All in all, quite ok, but really nothing more. 2 nights were enough.

Very scenic location. The older service staff seemed rather unmotivated and unfriendly. The younger service staff, on the other hand, made an effort to fulfill the guests' wishes.The quality of the food did not correspond to the relatively high price level. We definitely won't be coming back again.

We went to the Wiesbauer with 5 people: 3 adults and 2 children!We were billed for 4 adults, 1 child + cot that wasn't even in the room, not even a blanket or pillow!

We were in this restaurant for the first time today. The location and the view from the terrace are fantastic. Unfortunately the price/performance ratio for the food is not right at all!! The portions were very small. I had venison goulash with spaetzle without any other side dish, no vegetables or salad for around 23.00 euros and just 4 small pieces of meat. My friend's portion (crusty fried potatoes) was also disappointing. We felt "ripped off" and therefore forewent further drinks and dessert. The only positive point is that our food tasted pretty good so far.

Good location on the A7 for an overnight stay. We arrived on the day of rest (Tuesday), which I also knew because we wouldn't get anything to eat, according to information from the owner over the phone. I didn't realize that the reception at the inn wasn't staffed either. The key to the room was available after a phone call at the key machine.The rooms themselves are simple and unfortunately the price-performance ratio is not right. They have probably adapted to the local prices in this very beautiful region. Breakfast was rather simple; if it hadn't been included in the price I would have skipped it.Payment by credit card was not accepted due to excessive fees. I don't think that's okay for a hotel that is also listed on Booking.com.

We were in the Essen restaurant and know the Wiesbauer from before.This time light and shadow were close together 🙈My wife had the meatloaf with homemade gypsy sauce 👍🏻 The roast and sauce were very good and tasted goodI was really looking forward to the deer 🦌 goulash and was very disappointed.Five small pieces of meat and they had tendons running through them.No joy and never again.

Ate roast pork with bread dumplings! It was the worst food we have ever eaten in the Allgäu!!! The dumplings were inedible, the roast was very greasy and the sauce was out of a bag.

We went there for coffee. Unfortunately, apple strudel was cold. The ice cream and hot drinks are completely overpriced. You definitely pay for the view here. Too bad.
