There is no space to station the car to drop at the lobby to get the parking card. So either have someone wait in the car or block the parking entry until you get the access card. Dropping the car elsewhere is sure to attract the police.

We had a HORRIBLE Experience at the Buddy Hotel in Munich this past September 2024.PLEASE VIEW THIS VIDEO ON YOUTUBE: https://youtu.be/iizodQC7Zyc1. When we arrived at the Hotel we noticed there were no tables or chairs in the room. We complained and they gave us two step stools.2. We lost power in the room twice when trying to get ready in the morning. It was pitch dark. No outlets worked. The desk clerk was able to get the lights in the main room on but the lights in the bathroom and all the outlets still didn’t work.3. The next day same thing happened. Luckily we were able to use my brother’s room to get ready.4. We needed towels at 10pm. The desk clerk and I spent the next 25 minutes going up and down the elevator trying to find the laundry room. He had no clue.5. When I asked the Hotel for compensation THEY BLEW US OFF. They said all the electrical problems were due to us and our devices. Not true! We used their provided hair dryer when the circuit tripped. We took that same dryer to my brother’s room. No problem.WE WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN. Their total lack of customer service and empathy was appalling. Their response was worse. Rude and offensive..

Great hotel for staying right by Karlsplatz - Very small rooms, but we knew that ahead of time. Very few amenities and very minimal contact with staff, but the room was clean and in a great location. Honestly better than we expected based on it being a tiny cheap hotel. Just don’t expect the amenities and service of a typical hotel experience.

The rooms are an excellent use of space - they are not big but have everything you need and are clean/organized. The location is very convenient for walking to attractions or getting on the subway just across the street. Comparatively, for the price per night, you will not find much better in Munich downtown.

The hotel is in a very good location.The rooms are small but new and clean.The staff is very good.The only problem is that I do not recommend staying in rooms facing the street because it is very noisy. I stayed for 3 days and I couldn't sleep properly. I was constantly woken up by the noise at night.

Disappointing service and lack of friendlinessWe had booked two double rooms at the Buddy Hotel Munich and wanted to change one of the rooms into two single rooms, of course for an additional charge. When we asked in advance by telephone whether this would be possible, we received an unexpectedly short answer: "No." On site we asked for an explanation and would have liked a friendly answer like "We're sorry, but the hotel is currently fully booked." But the employee stuck with a curt "No is no, why should I talk a lot?"The highlight was that we wanted to book an additional single room as changing to two single rooms was not possible. The answer was again: "No, we are fully booked." A friend of ours then went to the hotel's website and was able to easily book a room, which he did immediately. When we showed this to the front desk agent, he explained that the room had previously been closed due to water damage, but was now available. He didn't know anything about it himself.Overall, the staff was extremely unfriendly and the service was poor. We are very disappointed and will not recommend this hotel.

Day 3 with no internet connection in the room through Wi-Fi. The signal strength is slower than 90's dial-up. The staff literally could give 2 shakes about customer service and they have a circular game of blame. The answer I have received is to work in the lobby which is about the size of a walk-in closet. There is no manager on duty and they say this person does not keep a regular schedule so send an email and someone may get back to me. This place is just somewhere to crash do not expect ANY customer service. Internet may not seem like a big deal to some but it is if you must get some work done!

Although the hotel's location was excellent, the service was very disappointing for the price I paid. The Wi-Fi was terrible, which made it hard to stay connected. They also did not clean the room, which they claimed was good for the environment. However, when I requested a cleaning, it took about 7 hours for someone to come. Additionally, the staff's attitude was not helpful or friendly at all. Overall, I expected much more for the cost.
