I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Staff was very polite and helpful. The room was clean and the lake view was spectacular! I will remember this place for a long time for sure. Since the neighborhood and the stay was a bit pricey I expected a little bit more toiletries and complementary stuff. Other than that definitely worth a visit.

We loved our stay at Hotel Schloss Berg! The location was close to Munich but remote enough to be out of the hustle and bustle of the city. The staff was friendly and the daily breakfast was wonderful with lots of choices. Such a cozy place! :-)

The only nice thing about the hotel is the lake. The rooms aren't cleaned when you come in, service is rancid and doesn't feel like working, toilets aren't cleaned and stink non-stop. All the good reviews are from the in-house staff, I can't explain them any other way.

So the service was incredibly rude and the rooms were barely cleaned. And oh my god the toilets were disgusting. The only good thing was the view which was also obscured by trees.

The reception was matter-of-fact and cold. The room was functionally furnished. A question about the Starnberg shipping was brushed off without waiting to see what we wanted to ask, with the information that the timetable was posted at the pier.The breakfast was OK but nothing exceptional. Hardly any sausage selection, on Monday the rolls from the previous day were baked. Despite the information on the homepage that various egg dishes are offered, they couldn't serve us a fried egg.All in all a standard hotel at luxury prices.The only bright spot was the friendly blonde lady at checkout.

The only good thing is the rich breakfast and service, otherwise it is unreasonable for people with disabilities, the elevator is much too small, you can only get to the main entrance via steps or an extremely steep ramp, the bathroom and toilet are not barrier-free, no air conditioning,

Today's situation happened to my sister, who was in this hotel with her family because she is being treated for cancer in a nearby clinic. A very unpleasant and pathological situation with a member of staff just before leaving the place. The man working at the restaurant is bothered by children and wanted to call the police on a 2-year-old child because he was making noise while eating. He was impudent, rude, rude and even rude. The man even told my sister and her family to leave, which in my opinion is unacceptable! What discrimination and lack of understanding for a little boy. It was the first time I heard about a situation where a child was treated worse than an animal by the staff. Why would someone work in such a place if it looked like he was working as a punishment, he performed activities without a smile on his face and even with an expression as if everything and everyone was bothering him. Someone like that should not work or have contact with people. The town is beautiful, but my sister shouldn't be stressed, especially by something like this, and yet the stress there has reached its zenith. My sister said that even if she had to travel 30 kilometers to this clinic, she would prefer this option than returning to this hotel!

Nice place and that's all good, the staff is very arrogant they wanted to call the police on our 2 year old son because he was too loud in the dining room it's definitely not a family friendly place, we really regret staying in this hotel. It's not normal the hotel manager walks around very angry at breakfast and looks at everyone haughtily, you immediately feel unwelcome.this is sick

Very nice hotel, great location almost directly on the lake, great starting position for cycling, boat dock a few steps away from the house, swimming opportunity at the lake, parking directly at the house with locked storage for bicycles, beautiful view of the lake, albeit from the 2nd row . The staff was very friendly and accommodating, whether at the reception, in the bar or at breakfast, and the farewell was also very warm. Room was spacious and nicely decorated, greatcomfortable bed, nice balcony. Breakfast had everything a breakfast needs, from salmon to soft eggs and eggs with bacon, a huge selection of fruit, even strawberries, delicious muesli, lots of small grain and pretzel rolls and delicious sweets, various spreads such as Obatzder and also Vegane.vari. Vegetables. I would have liked more white sausages, but that's complaining at a high level 😉We really liked it and felt very comfortable
