Disappointing stay - potential remains unusedUnfortunately I was disappointed with my stay. Overall, the hotel is a bit old, which wouldn't be a big problem if at least everything was clean. However, the cleanliness was not consistent, which greatly spoils the overall impression.The food buffet was particularly disappointing. In the evening there wasn't even a cheese board or different types of cheese, which I expect as standard in a hotel of this category. Overall, the food seemed carelessly presented, and to make matters worse, many dishes were not labeled at all. You often didn't know what you were eating, which is particularly problematic for guests with allergies or special dietary needs. In addition, the top guy on the edge was very “old” and didn’t look appealing.The staff tries hard, but many employees hardly speak any German, which makes communication difficult at times. Overall, there is a lack of attention to detail and a certain standard that should make a stay pleasant and relaxing. It's a shame, a lot of potential is wasted here.

"Great inside, bad outside" - Modern rooms, reception, spa & wellness area, but the outside facade is in need of renovation. Unfortunately, the young service staff lacks leadership and experience, which makes them seem either asleep or, when necessary, like a bunch of frightened chickens. The breakfast has a great ambience with a direct view of the lake, but it is very carelessly prepared and the service cannot keep up here either. "It's a shame" - We would have expected more in terms of 4 stars.

This is not a wellness hotel!Only a small sauna, no steam room, no whirlpool, no plunge pool and no relaxation room. Small pool with slippery outdoor area! I think it's very negligent to protect yourself by saying you enter at your own risk.The location is priceless and the room is really lovely.Room service is very intrusive.A young lady who doesn't speak German and comes into the room at 8:30 a.m. without knocking to clean.She has already found my husband naked twice, which was very uncomfortable for us. I don't know if that was her intention.She doesn't clean. She just folds the bed and leaves. The bathroom was only cleaned once in the four days we were there. There are only one coffee capsules per day and there is no kettle, as I said, the location is good right on the lake.Price-performance ratio mediocre. In the lake restaurant there are only three meat and three fish dishes. We didn't find any more choice.The place itself, Bernried, has nothing to offer.To do this you have to drive to Tutzing.In the town itself there is also a SeeRestaurant, a hotel with a mediocre restaurant and a bakery, nothing else.But the room and location was very nice, we had a room with a lake view.The breakfast is very interesting! You literally have to argue about whether the 30 tables are arguing. Selection mediocre.

The hotel deserves a maximum of two to three stars, is totally outdated and the price is totally exorbitant.Apart from that, the service is inadequate, mistakes can happen, but it would be beyond the scope to list everything that didn't work. Our room wasn't even cleaned today, even though we only put up the do not disturb sign for about an hour had.Conclusion: once but never again in this hotel.

The hotel is beautifully located on Lake Starnberg.Room very nice with a view of the lake…But it's not a wellness hotel!!!Mini sauna that is almost never on. Indoor pool very small. There is no steam bath and the offer of massage is only available on paper. If you would like a massage, this service is only possible in a fortnight, even though you received a telephone confirmation for the next day.Breakfast is only available until 10:30 a.m. and if you don't arrive until 10 a.m., the buffet will be dismantled at 10:20 a.m. despite many new guests, so you should keep that in mind!

The rooms are unclean and shabby, the bed creaks like a pig, the pillows are rough like graters. Furniture not 4 stars.Food, except breakfastnot the upscale class you would expect. Bags of pamp sauce, salad from buckets and meat as tough as shoe soles. Service staff impossible, you can be happy if you are understood at all. The path to the houses is not lit, it's completely dark... and there's danger.All in all lousy.never again

A paradise of well-being.for the second time in a row, I had the opportunity to stay in one of the lake view rooms of this property.The structure is well looked after, welcoming and relaxing. Inside there is a relaxation area with gym, swimming pool and sauna that will help you recharge your batteries.When booking, I had problems with one of the sites selling the rooms and, subsequently, communicating with the hotel until I ran into Claudia, one of the receptionists who helped me sort out the problem.Thanks again to Claudia for the support.I would advise the facility not to have people who only speak German answer the phone and, in addition, to add someone who speaks Italian to the staff.I hope to return again next year and find what I found on previous occasions.

There was no offer advertised online of €233 per person for 3 days/2 nights for €362 per person; the booking was significantly more expensive. The paid package included both a 3 and 4 course menu. However, instead of the 4-course menu, a (poor) barbecue was served as a buffet in warming tureens / self service. The bottle of sparkling wine in the room that was included in the offer had to be ordered and was a cheap sparkling wine. The sauna was not in use. In response to my complaint, the blame was passed back and forth between the hotel and Kurz-mal-weg.de, and there was never an adequate response.

Very nice location. Unfortunately the service is not good. Breakfast was not very fresh. You had to wait in line for a long time for coffee. The breakfast room was very full and the staff couldn't keep up. It works for a transit trip like I used. I wouldn't stay there for a longer period of time. Man, the location is worth paying for very well.

Rooms were available on the booking app and you could also book them. But since we were already nearby, we went in and wanted to ask for a room in person.But we were brushed off at reception and not welcomed; they were apparently told that “there were no rooms available”. It was strange when multiple rooms could be booked on the app. Apparently we weren't dressed too finely, which is understandable when you're traveling around the lake on a boat for 4 hours.

The location of the hotel is beautiful and the breakfast is also good. The access to the lake with a wooden island is great! However, some of the rooms are very outdated, we had no hot water and the staff in the restaurant could have been friendlier...

Unfortunately the room was old and worn out. The beds were absolutely impossible. Mattresses were sagging. And you rolled inwards. Unfortunately, the next morning you were totally tense. Sleeping in these beds is actually impossible.For this price and this location an absolute no-go!Unfortunately! :(Such a shame!The lawn is very nice, but the mown grass, which was unfortunately left lying around, had to be dragged all the way through the hotel complex. That wasn't nice.A few umbrellas on the lawn would also be good.You could make so much out of it. This hotel would have great potential if they start renovating as soon as possible!The staff (especially in the restaurant) urgently needs to work on friendliness, service and organization! (especially in the afternoon/early evening)In the hotel area (reception) there was a very nice young man (dark hair and a bit shorter) who greeted us very positively.This and the location on the beautiful Lake Starnberg still allowed us to enjoy our vacation!

The hotel complex is very nice, but the room was really getting old. Sleeping on the bed was unbearable. There is no real path to the lake and there is not enough shade to relax on the lawn. The breakfast was the best thing about the hotel. Sauna was also great. The indoor pool is too cold and the towels were often empty. For the price, the ratio is absolutely not right. The hotel should be brought back to its shine.

Don't be seduced by the four stars. The room we stayed in was not four-star worthy at all. The location is fantastic, that makes up for a lot. We could walk straight to the lake from our room and we had comfortable sun beds in front of the door. But the room in building 4 was dated, no ventilation, no kitchenette and the beds were mediocre. The breakfast was good but poorly replenished. Also regularly encountering dirty cutlery, dirty plates or bowls in the 'clean' pile. There was also a wasp plague at the restaurant, making sitting outside virtually impossible. We did not use the wellness. All in all it didn't meet our expectations.
