Solid, old house, charming Mexican restaurant in the house, although located in the center of the city, a 2-300 year old linden tree creates a cozy atmosphere in the guest garden (which also has a large chestnut …

Ideal location for visiting the performance on Pernerinsel and for visiting Hallein. Room 210 is modernly furnished, the staff is very friendly, the breakfast is very good. The restaurant serves delicious things. The price is still ok for the festival season.

The worst hotel I have ever visited in my life. The staff is absolutely unfriendly and unhelpful. They were yelling at me hysterically about the mountain bike and to top it off the staff were in a heavily inebriated state. At the same time, I had agreed via email that there would be no problem with the bike. If I don't get paid, I'd rather go elsewhere. When asking for a refund, the receptionist had another hysterical roar. The rooms would like maintenance and especially air conditioning. Having 36 degrees in your room all night is not pleasant. Sometimes there was a young, nice lady at the reception, who was the only one who was willing and smiling. Let the rest of the staff go and bury themselves. I will avoid this hotel next time.

The hotel’s location is excellent, especially if you’re looking to explore Salzburg without staying directly in the city. It’s near a main road and just a short walk from the local train station, making it easy to travel around. There’s also ample free parking, which was fine for us.The staff were friendly and helpful, making check-in and check-out smooth. The rooms, although somewhat dated, were clean and comfortable, giving off a rustic vibe that adds to the charm of staying in a more traditional setting. However, the lack of air conditioning was a significant drawback, especially during the hot summer nights. (With climate change making summers hotter than they used to be, air conditioning is no longer a luxury but a necessity, especially for a good night’s sleep) The fan provided in the room didn’t quite cut it, and it made sleeping a bit uncomfortable.Breakfast was where the experience faltered a bit. While the food available was generally good, the selection was limited. We didn’t realize until the end of our stay that we needed to ask for certain items like eggs or coffee. Unfortunately, the breakfast staff didn’t seem particularly approachable, often appearing in a bad mood, which made us hesitant to ask for more.✅In summary, Hotel Hafnerwirt offers a convenient and comfortable stay with friendly service, but there’s definitely room for improvement, particularly with air conditioning and the breakfast service.𝘐𝘵’𝘴 𝘥𝘦𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘺 𝘢 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘪𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶’𝘳𝘦 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘢 𝘣𝘢𝘴𝘦 𝘯𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘚𝘢𝘭𝘻𝘣𝘶𝘳𝘨.
