Immaculately designed room with very comfortable large bed and fabulous shower. Interesting lighting system which took a while to figure out! Extortionately expensive breakfast at EU28 per head! Is on a main road so can be noisy especially at week-ends.

I stayed here for Oktoberfest and had an excellent experience. The rooms were large by European standards a the bed was very comfortable. It's in a nice area of the city with easy train station access. It's also very quiet at night which is much appreciated. The team at the check-in desk are fantastic. I was spoiled with fresh made-to-order coffee every morning with breakfast. I'll definitely stay here when I come back!

I came expecting to be here just a couple nights but due to an emergency had to stay an extra week for treatment.HiT is delightful. It begins with the staff. Pleasant to look at, interact with and an overall terrific energy. The morning breakfast is fresh and complete. Typical German breads, yogurts, cheese, meats, eggs etc, but never old and stale. And of course fine coffee x 2.Haus Im Tal is in an AMAZING location for convenience of quick pickup for pharmacy, food items, quick bites like pizza, gyro, tacos (!) and of course schnitzel across the street. You’re also a couple blocks from a few town squares with EVERYTHING from an Apple Store to every other need you might have. Taxis super close. Easy access to the quickie subway to Oktoberfest, maybe 10 minutes?!Pro tip: Uber is way cheaper than taxis.Dachau, while incredibly disturbing, is worth the trip. (No selfies and stupid pictures please)I found this country to be incredibly charming, a word I never thought I’d use to describe Germany, with my preconceived notions. The degree of contrition for past misdeeds by prior generations oozes from the pores of every Germany encountered. Germans, and Germany, are fantastic. This is my 101st country I’ve visited. I kept asking “where have I been for goodness sake.”As Mark Twain said, proven once again, “Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime.”Haus Im Tal made it a special visit.Thank you all.

Ok, so this isn’t much of a hotel. Reception desk is on 5th floor attached to the bar. The rooms were clean and beds were ok. No closet space, bathroom sink was about the size of a salad bowl. …
