Beautiful hotel, great staff from reception to service to cleaning. Food is star-level, you'll be happy to come here again, especially since the price-performance ratio is perfect

+friendly staff+Cleaning staff are very conscientious with their work+Location (Eibsee and Zugspitze nearby)+Wellness area (comfortable and equipped with everything you need+We were allowed to check in earlier and we received a friendly welcome-No food a la carte (according to the employees there was no need for guests)-Child could be booked as well, but there were no children's menus (had to look for alternatives in the area)-Almost exclusively pensioners who monopolize the sauna-Dried plants in the flower pot on the balcony (were only removed days later)A little tip: if you don't have time for plants, it's better to leave out the flower box.- Mildew stains in the bathtub, these should be removed as quickly as possible

Great location at the foot of the Zugspitze, clean rooms and great cuisine in the evening.Beautiful wellness area with pool, whirlpool and sauna.The service staff is very attentive and friendly, but sometimes communication is only possible in English.A point deducted because the two people at the reception did not know the arrangement that had been paid for in advance, wanted to settle additional items that had already been paid for and could not give any explanation about the booked offer.

Not recommended!!!1. Spa area: The number of loungers in the spa area was clearly too few. It was almost impossible to find a place, which greatly affected our stay there.2. Sauna: The sauna was only warm from 4 p.m., which in our opinion is far too late. A sauna area that could be used all day would have been desirable.3. Lounge for cake: The lounge where cake was served was far too small and had hardly any seating.4. Cake: The cake served was obviously frozen, not fresh and very disappointing in taste.5. Service staff: In the morning we had to witness how the service staff argued in front of the guests. This is completely unprofessional and seemed extremely unpleasant.6. Service in general: Except for the evening service by Victor, the service overall was very poor. There was a lack of friendliness and attention.7. Evening service: The waitress cleared the plates stacked in a rude manner, which was more reminiscent of cafeteria service than the attention of an upscale hotel restaurant. The food in the evening tasted very good.8. Language skills: Most of the employees barely spoke German, which makes communication with older clientele very difficult.9. Personal contact: There was no personal touch or effort to welcome us as guests or to take care of us individually.10. Room cleaning: Our room was not clean. The grout lines in the bathroom were moldy, the armchair was stained and the sink was cracked.11. Lack of room amenities: The promised bathrobes and slippers were missing from our room.12. Reception: The gentleman at reception seemed stressed and unhelpful, which further spoiled the overall impression.Forgotten 13th birthday: Despite being informed, one of our birthdays was completely ignored, which we found very disappointing.14. Breakfast: The breakfast was very meager and carelessly prepared. The presentation and selection did not meet our expectations at all. Especially regarding the 5 stars.15. Egg Menu: Although the egg menu is advertised on your website, it was not proactively offered to us. When we finally wanted to order eggs at 9:00 a.m., we were simply told that “eggs were out” without offering alternatives.We are very disappointed with our stay and will definitely not be returning nor can we ever recommend the hotel. Don't book it!!

Top location but not a 5-star hotel. Rooms are small but fully equipped and with a great view. Beds are comfortable. Housekeeping excellent. Reception friendly and helpful, even if you arrive later. There is parking, but very tight. We ate in the restaurant once in the evening - it was really nice. Only praise for this 🙂 Unfortunately there is only a choice from one menu... but it worked for us.But, but... There are several 'details' that don't fit a 5-star hotel. In a "romantic" hotel I don't expect dried and wilted flowers in the flower boxes. There should also be no trash lying around in the parking lot (for several days). Breakfast was very poor, the room needed renovation, the staff were friendly and helpful, but more of a work-and-travel level - not what I expect in a 5-star romantic hotel. It's amazing that there were no fresh rolls on Sundays - why?Wellness area is okay, but small and not at the level that would be expected here either.All the pictures of the hotel on the website are beautifully shot and convey a lot more space than there actually is here.Price/performance ratio doesn't fit. It is a well-equipped hotel in a great location, but the difference between it and a 5-star hotel has been lost.

Smaller hotel, with many negative points. Price-performance inadequate.The general cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired, cobwebs in the restaurant and in the wellness area. There are lots of little flies in the house. Room service only does the bare minimum.The breakfast was very disappointing, very little choice, no good signage of the products. I've had better breakfasts in some hostels.The rooms are okay but very old, the bed is unfortunately uncomfortable.The staff are not trained specialists. Some of the employees were unfriendly or didn't speak German.We had a 4-course menu with us when we booked and the hotel, without our knowledge, put this on the day of arrival. The staff didn't want to postpone dinner until the next day, even though we arrived after 7 p.m. and had already eaten.The wellness area is okay, there wasn't much going on, some things need to be renovated, some of the saunas were out.Unfortunately, you can tell that very little effort is generally made in this hotel. We wouldn't come again, there are better hotels for the money.

This was our third time here, if we didn't like it we wouldn't come back. We are aware of the personnel shortage in the industry, so no further comments on this. The lady at the reception is very friendly. Super nice little swimming area with a great view. The free bus connection to the area is also very good.

Beautiful hotel with a direct view of the Zugspitze. Very nice staff. Good breakfast buffet. Unfortunately we were only here for one night while passing through. But we will definitely book here on our next vacation in the Zugspitz Arena.

The location of the hotel is great. You can start hiking straight away from the hotel. The hiking trails start directly at the hotel.The view from the room was great - a “room with a view” so to speak.Otherwise, a cultivated overestimation of oneself is practiced here. Unfortunately, what the online presence promises is not kept.Whether it concerns the cleanliness of the premises or the quality of the kitchen. There is clearly room for optimization here, which even the friendly service staff could not compensate for.A renovation backlog cannot be denied.Unfortunately we don't recommend it, especially since the price-performance ratio doesn't fit in any way.

2 nights in August 2024. Really nice place and good base for great trips. We went to the Zuspitz and Eibsee and went on a hike a village further away. It is ideal that you receive a free public transport ticket that is paid for with tourist tax.

Very good hotel in a good location about 250-300 m from various restaurants. Excellent views from either side and also from the little pool/whirlpool area. Free parking was available on site, there was a good breakfast spread and the reception team was friendly and communicating in both English and German. Only the bed in the room was a bit hard for our taste and one of our rooms had a bit of a smell at the start. Also, some still water can be offered on the rooms not just sparkling especially for younger kids. However, it was overall a very good experience. Would rate it 4.5+ and call it a superior 4 star hotel.

Fantastic location, rooms good and generally like the pictures. The rooms are perhaps a bit simple and not very spacious (we had a south-facing third floor). Balcony very great. :-)Spa as described in other reviews is a bit 'outdated' and looks better and bigger in the pictures than it is.Service at breakfast was okay to good. The omelette was the best we had ever tasted!!Service at the reception depends on the person, from very charming to absolutely unfriendly.Unfortunately, we couldn't judge the restaurant because the reservation we had made the day before was canceled with a quick call without giving any reasons and without an apology - presumably to make more money with a larger group. The solution could have been more charming in a hotel like this...In short: nice hotel, you pay for the very, very nice location and view. But certainly not a 5 star hotel and for my taste the reviews here lead you to expect a bit too much :-)We stayed there for 3 nights as a couple in the summer
