We were here for an early evening meal. The service was super friendly. The portions were huge and freshly prepared. A great price-performance ratio! A real recommendation with a playground in front of the door and a great view of the castle on the other side!

Highly recommended!Today, September 26th, 2024, last day, then closed for about a week due to a change of tenant. Then we'll see what happens next...Information will probably be available on the website or if you call.

September 2024We went to this restaurant again today for a very tasty meal. The tenant and chef will change in October 2024 and we wish him good luck.We had Greek roast beef with Greek noodles and a pulled pork wrap with salad. For dessert, a chocolate souflé with cherries, vanilla ice cream and cream. As always, everything tasted very good. We will be testing the new chef here soon and wish you a good start again. The view of Burghausen is always beautiful.September 2023Eaten so deliciously. Feel free to come back and reserve a table in advance.

Very nice place to have dinner. The food is delicious, the portions are very good, so you really feel full. What has to be emphasized is the view: of the castle and the river. Very nice! We were there in the summer and slept there twice and had dinner twice. The rooms are a bit old but really recommended for the price.Keep it up!

So the food was very marginal and there was absolutely nothing about it that could have been described as good. A lot, but tasteless, sometimes even inedible. This way you can also get rid of your customers!

I only know the food, but the wild boar ragout with noodles was a delight.Simply WONDERFUL.LG from Zell am See.I'll be back despite the change in tenant.

We had a decent stayover at this ‘Gasthaus’. The room was clean, unfortunately no shower gel or at least a bottle of complementary water was supplied. The restaurant was nice with a good value for foods and drinks. Service could have been a bit friendlier though. The only downside was the incredibly bad breakfast the next morning. Burghausen, the German city across the river was beautiful, worth a visit.
