There isn’t much to add to all those splendid reviews. In all respects a wonderful place with that 5 star breakfast which is hard to be topped by much more expensive venues. Absolutely recommendable!

An absolutely stellar experience! The cozy traditional hotel offers balconies with cafe tables perched above a soothing rippling river, perfect for sleeping. From the comfortable spotless rooms one has views of the surrounding hills of the Schwartzwald and plenty of hiking trails nearby. We chose one which led to an enchanted part of the forest, with a rocky rolling stream ending at a lovely waterfall. The owner provides her own booklet with tips on sites to visit and suggests restaurants for dinner in the area. The breakfast is exquisite, a top flight gourmet production—featuring all sorts of fresh fruit, artisanal yogurt & confitures, various gorgeous breads, biscuits, juices and pastries and an assortment of meats, cheeses & smoked salmon. Especially good coffee as well! The owner even baked fresh gluten free bread for us!This hotel is extremely well run; efficient yet welcoming! We will return to this lovely town and our now favorite hotel! Thank you, Julia!
