A wonderful homestay. The family was lovely and attentive to anything we might need.Close to the center but far enough away from the noise and hustle and bustle of the city. The room was comfortable, clean and well-kept, the breakfast was very rich and the shower had good hot water.You can hire excursions and transportation to and from the airport with them and they will advise you well on everything you need.We also liked the laundry service a lot.We felt cared for and cared for throughout our stay with details that went beyond the price of a room.Thanks to Ketut and his family we were able to know and understand a little better how they live in society and some of the Balinese customs.We will return without a doubt!

By far the best homestay we stayed in during our stay in Bali!On arrival we were warmly welcomed and escorted to our very spacious room with a large terrace.Ketut and Made are very loving hosts and you feel comfortable from the first moment!We had a fantastic day with Ketut, who showed us impressive highlights in the area... thank you very much!💕Best regardsTanja & Lieven

Super strange place and awful service. Don’t respect guests at all. After I wrote my honest review and impressions on Booking they sent me message in WhatsApp that I don’t respect them and after that blocked me in WhatsApp.And as passive aggressive they wished me a good day. My God.That’s so bad.By the way I don’t recommend to stand there. I couldn’t sleep since 5.00 on the morning and the day was ruined. Dirty, towels with holes, even no soap

Everything here is very good jungle view, panorama feelings, good for healing mentality. But apart from they should put a wired net on the toilet window to prevent bee coming in and asked for breakfast extra charge which said already included in the booking.

I loved my stay here so much. The rooms are clean, comfortable and have the nicest view ever. Every room has their own terracce which makes it even better. You can also order your breakfast and eat it on your terrace every morning. The price for the accommodation is so cheap for what you’re getting. But what I loved the most about this homestay was the family! Alit helped me out with everything and her kids werde the cutest kids ever. Their family even took me to their ceremony and I’m so thankful I was able to experience this! So if you want to have an authentic experience in Bali and really get in touch with locals I can highly recommend staying here. Whenever I‘ll be back in Ubud, this will be the place to stay for me! Thank u so much.

We had such a lovely stay at Bali Asli Lodge.We felt very welcomed, and we loved being able to catch moments of the daily life of a Balinese family.The rooms are spacious, cool and very private, and they got cleaned everyday during our stay. Room is also far away enough from the road that is quiet, but central Ubud is only a walk away.Would 100% recommend the experience.

Really nice experience staying here, Made and the family were very welcoming and helped us with whatever we needed, including explaining some of the local traditions. Good clean rooms (the fan is sufficient with no a/c because the rooms don't get direct sunlight) and it's nice and quiet.

If you want to visit an authentic Balinese homestay, this is the right place for you. You live in the complex of houses belonging to Ketut & Madé's extended family. They offer their cuisine morning and evening. They also got us a motorbike so that we could visit the area on our own. They also organized tickets for us for the Kecak dance and it was right around the corner with a 5 minute walk. It will be charged 500k for the trip to the airport for two people.

I throughly enjoyed staying here during my trip to Bali. Made and her daughter made me feel very cared for, and treated me like I was part of their family.As a solo female traveller, I really appreciated the care and warmth that they have shown me. I feel very safe and happy staying with them.Tip: You have to be careful of when going up or down the stairs though!I will come back again!

Pleasant room where you live with a very welcoming family. Made is an extremely friendly and generous host. Very quiet location, a little away from the center though. The room is also a little humid as soon as the weather is rainy because it is in the heart of greenery.

Very good address, in particular thanks to the hosts who received us so well.We tried and loved cooking with Madé. The advice on outings in Ubud and the guided outing with Ketut allowed us to get our stay off to a good start.

The family is super helpful and open. Madi's food is incredible, especially the tempeh, a trip to the temples with Katut was great, highly recommended, they organize onward transport and tickets for the dances. Super nice family and cozy stay! The rooms are great, with a view of the countryside, only the neighbors' roosters are a bit annoying.
