Reception was friendly and helpful as was every contact with the staff. The rooms are a bit old but clean. The breakfast was rich and the quality was appropriate for the 3***. The coffee even has **** :-)Location is central but quiet, there are only a few parking spaces in front of the door but the hotel garage still had a spot for me.

We stayed in a 4-person room at the Hotel Wedel for 2 nights. The breakfast buffet was sufficient, but one would have liked more warm food. With the S1 (stop approx. 100 meters away) you can reach Hamburg city center within 45 minutes; the best way to get there is with the 5-ring tariff ticket (individual or group ticket). If you want to walk down to the Elbe in the evening, you can reach it within 20-30 minutes, and you can also walk through the shopping street of Wedel. For a good meal, there are 3 restaurants within 50 meters of the hotel. It is advisable to reserve a table in advance at the Italian restaurant. You can actually always get a good seat at the other two German restaurants.

Well, the rooms could use a refresh. But, the beds were super comfortable. The bathroom was clean. Of course, you can also discuss one or another joint here and renew it. The service was super friendly. Extra requests were implemented immediately. If there was a wait for breakfast, coffee was served in advance. The breakfast was rich and always freshly topped up. We parked in front of the house without any problems. There is free parking nearby. We'll be back.

We booked into this hotel with breakfast included and received a friendly welcome. But when we asked about parking options, we were told we should look for free parking spaces outside. Unfortunately, the hotel's own parking garage is so small and narrow that it is impossible to park in it, even with a normal-sized car. This was very annoying and we had to park a long way away, which should definitely be pointed out. Unfortunately, we weren't impressed with the room. The room faced the restaurant next door and there was a lot of noise there until late at night, even after the restaurant closed. So we had to close the windows because apparently the kitchen staff was finishing work there and doing the associated clean-up work. Other guests also noticed this negatively and disturbingly. Unfortunately, the room itself was not in good condition and, among other things, the paint in the bathroom was peeling off the tiles. However, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was also very varied and tasty. The staff at breakfast were also really friendly and attentive. Otherwise, the hotel is very centrally located and you can reach the city on foot in a short time. However, we would not book here again based on the experiences mentioned.

We spent a long weekend with a group at the Hotel Diamant. It is located on a beautiful, quiet street in the immediate vicinity of a lake. It's a 5-minute walk to the center and S-Bahn station. The rooms are cozy and very clean. We slept well. The staff is very helpful and friendly in every situation. The breakfast buffet is rich and the coffee tastes very good.

The service was great, for a second night the hotel was fully booked but they managed to make a second night possible.Breakfast was perfect and verry nice, for dinner plenty locations nearby.Public transport to Hamburg in a 5 minutes walk.The staff was nice and helpful.Parking possibities for the car in the garage.A great positive for this hotel.

Rooms are OK. Nice service and good breakfast. A limited number of underground parking spaces are available for a fee. When we're back in Wedel, we'll be happy to stay there again.

Nice hotel with very nice staff. We were there at the weekend and felt very comfortable. We were happy about the bottle of water in the room. A small minibar for cold drinks might be an idea.Always happy to go to the Hotel Diamant.
