Very nicely furnished guest house. We had a room on the first floor that was very nice and tastefully decorated. The mini breakfast was totally sufficient for us. The service was very friendly and accommodating. There is a parking garage nearby, but we found a space in a free parking lot on the street. There is also a bus stop nearby, so you can easily get to the Blankenese S-Bahn.Would we book the hotel again: yesWould we recommend the hotel to friends: yes

Top boarding house. Everything thought out in detail, from check-in to check-out. Rooms cozy, clean, tasteful. Quiet location. Nice touch with the breakfast croissants. The surrounding staircase district is uniquely beautiful. All in all tip top. Absolutely recommended.

The hotel is located in the Blankenesse stair district. Rooms were small but ok. We had a room on the ground floor so it was very loud early on because some guests were having breakfast at the entrance. The capsule machine in the room has no capsules, so it's useless, but there was another coffee machine at the entrance. There was also a box of Crossaint at the entrance for each room. Unfortunately we only have one for 2 people. Parking very difficult we were lucky and found a parking space on the street.

The place is of course beautiful, right in Blankenese near the Blankenese Stairs district. We give this a 9/10.Room 4 (our room) was small and unfortunately our duvet cover had small bloody stains. - we found this to be unhygienic. Therefore we give the room a 4/10. Breakfast was very manageable. There were croissants, rolls with jam, honey, Nutella and butter (somewhat similar to a rest stop breakfast). We had to bring the rest (cold cuts such as salmon, sausage and cheese) ourselves. The cappuccino cups are definitely too small for the fully automatic coffee machine. The milk foam spilled over. Therefore we give the breakfast a 2/10. Service… we give it a 2/10. We weren't sure if it was a one-man show or if there were several employees working in the hotel. If it's a one-man show then we give the service a 3/10.The fact is, the service was not there. Price performance, the hotel was not worth the money. You would certainly have gotten more in other hotels in Blankenese. Therefore overall a 3/10. I think overall you have to be prepared to get nothing and pay a lot. If you go in with that mindset, you won't be disappointed for the price.

We made a group booking for our wedding at the neighboring location. The pricing was opaque. Instead of a group discount, higher room prices are charged than for an individual booking. When asked about this, we were told that the prices are always based on “supply and demand”. This means that the isolated location next to the location is exploited to rip off guests.Communication with the hotel was a disaster. Emails were sometimes not answered for weeks, despite telephone inquiries. In the end, people even forgot to reserve a room, so some of the guests had to move to other accommodation.Due to the lack of ceiling lights, the rooms are very dark, so bridal styling, for example, is not easily possible there.
