My girlfriend and I spent the last weekend here. We felt very comfortable here. The friendliness at reception upon arrival was great. The rooms were very clean. Beds were great. The only thing that bothered us was that the saunas weren't hot until 5 p.m. We would have liked to have used it at 3 p.m. The breakfast buffet was great. There were very tasty fresh rolls, croissants, good coffee, sausage, cheese, salmon, tomato mozzarella, great scrambled eggs, bratwurst, bacon, fruit, dessert and much more. We sometimes don't understand the bad reviews. You just can't complain about that. In addition, the location is good, 650 meters from the city center. In the evening we ate at “Plietsch”. The food was great. Here too, the service was very, very friendly and the prices were ok. When we go to the coast again, we would love to come back here. 👍

08/12/24:The employees are nice. The room was in the building next door - everything there is covered with a long-floor carpet, including the rooms. I personally don't like that at all. In addition, the room appears very small and cramped due to the dark carpet and dark wallpaper. I was missing an extra pillow for the night (there is only one on each side of the bed). The bathroom has been newly renovated and is really nice and spacious. The breakfast is okay. Little choice for vegans/vegetarians, no oat milk or similar. All in all okay.In addition:When we were there, there was a big construction site in front of the hotel - it woke me up at 7 in the morning...The hotel can't be blamed, but it's still stupid.

During my business trip I was very well looked after by the staff. The request for an extension of the stay was implemented immediately. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious! The park-like garden contributes to relaxation.I'm looking forward to my next overnight stay at the Krögers Hotel.

We were there with a tour group of 21 people. My room in the neighboring building was on the ground floor. It wasn't possible to leave the patio door open at night because of the busy street. The food was eaten in the area between the restaurant entrance and the smoking bar, fairly close to the breakfast bar. Very narrow and uncomfortable. I always had to close the door to the smoking bar myself before eating. And every time I went through the service there was a smell of smoke. We weren't allowed into the next room even though it was free. On the last evening a disused oil drum was placed at our table (decorative). It got even tighter. We were supposed to eat at 7:30 p.m. But we only got this at 8 p.m., according to the waitress, when everyone had their drinks. No flexibility in guest requests. Only 1 menu was offered. Service was sometimes very unfriendly and overwhelmed.

The only thing that impresses the Krögers is its appearance. Otherwise the hotel is like something from the Middle Ages:- Bad service- No consideration for allergies or intolerances- Room facilities moderateVegan alternatives for breakfast? Quote: “Our guests bring something like this with them.” No plant milk or anything like that. That's really cheeky these days. Coffee specialties cost extra at breakfast. Where else can you find something like that these days? All that’s left is lukewarm filter coffee…In the room: pillows hard, duvet too short and the thick down duvet is no longer needed in July. Only dim light in the bathroom. The bedroom cannot really be darkened due to the outside lighting. Some work colleagues had already told me exactly this, but I was blinded by the internet pictures.Definitely the last time for me!
