Thanks to Mr. Schmücker, who welcomed me incredibly nicely and politely and took my concerns seriously. I hope I spell the name correctly, give the man a raise who knows how to deal with customers!The room I was in at first was disgusting, but then I got a new one. The carpet was dirty, the toilet was incredibly dirty, urine stains were often overlooked. The third floor smells awful. I was moved to a new room that was much better and cleaner.Mr. Schmücker is the only good thing about the hotel.

I visited the hotel for a conference in the same establishment. During the conference there was always plenty of food and drinks, although the vegetarian selection in the restaurant can still be improved. The hotel with bar and lobby are very clean and pleasantly quiet. The proximity to the motorway and tram makes getting there very easy. The internet connection in the house was rather weak and should be replaced.

This hotel is a bit older.The bathroom could use a few refreshes. There was no safe or minibar in my room. The bed is great, you sleep very well in it. The staff and service were great. The food was tasty and varied. 2 minutes walk and you are at the tram where you can reach the city center in 15 minutes.

This hotel is just okay, nothing impressive, no bells and whistles.Upon arrival, they failed to mention that there is no daily room cleaning. I only discovered this after three days without any cleaning. I asked at the reception, and they explained that rooms are only cleaned upon request, which I don’t mind as long as the front desk informs guests — which they didn’t. Additionally, I would have expected some form of point compensation, as many other Mercure hotels offer, in exchange for opting out of room cleaning.During dinner, when I asked for a glass of water, the waiter insisted on selling me a bottle of water and initially said that tap water wasn’t available. Eventually, they brought me a glass of tap water, but I found it uncomfortable that I had to insist to get free water.

I stayed in this hotel with my team for the IAA Transportation 2024. The hotel is very old, the reception area has been renovated, but the rooms are very old. In addition, the cleanliness was not there at all. I had to change my room 2 times, in the end I ended up in a pilot room which was newly renovated and clean. By cleanliness I mean: dust-free and cleaned rooms. Unfortunately that wasn't the case, at first I was put in an allergy sufferer's room full of dust everywhere and hair on the nightstand and in the bed. In the second room there was feces smeared on the toilet seat, and the toilet itself also looked the same. The last room was okay.I stayed for 5 nights, my room wasn't cleaned once during this period and the towels weren't changed either.In its current state I would not recommend the hotel to anyone.

Large room and large bathroom. Very clean. There was also plenty of storage space in the cupboards if you stay longer. Breakfast was excellent. There was a coffee machine...since there were only 10 guests in the breakfast room, that wasn't a problem. If the hotel is more busy, there will definitely be traffic jams. From the A7 you have to drive about 5km, the A2 is practically around the corner.

The hotel is pragmatic and good. The room is already large and offers enough space. The bathroom is not up to date but clean and tidy. The breakfast is rich and there is something for every taste.The location is a clear advantage. The tram / Üstra can be reached in a few minutes. Perfect for city explorers as you can do without your own car.

As an Accor fidelity member, I'm shocked by my recent experience at this Mercure hotel. Within 20 minutes of checking in, I discovered a dried blood stain under the first layer of sheets in my room . This is a major hygiene concern that raises questions about the hotel's cleaning standards.What's even more disappointing is the complete lack of response from the management. I immediately reported the issue via email with photographic evidence, but hours passed without any acknowledgment or action taken. This level of negligence is unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one belonging to the Accor group or a 4 starts one.Key issues:1. Unhygienic conditions (blood stain on sheets)2. Lack of proper room cleaning between guests3. Non-existent customer service4. Failure to address a serious health and safety concernI cannot recommend this hotel to anyone prioritizing cleanliness and responsive customer service. This experience has seriously damaged my trust in both the Mercure brand and Accor group. Potential guests should be aware of these issues before booking.
