Room and breakfast were ok. The rooms are a bit cold, but acceptable for one night.We were spontaneously allowed to stay longer than we had checked in. Big plus for the service.

This was my fourth time staying at this guesthouse and I would come back again and again. Unfortunately the boss passed away at the beginning of the year, but his wife continues to run the house with the same quality. The room prices are justified and the breakfast corresponds to the price.

Nice family hotel/guesthouse/b&b. In the summer when we were there, there was only the b&b option. So we go into town for dinner. On the way back I found it very difficult to climb up an 18% slope. It was doable, but for me as an elderly person it involved stops. Especially if you have had some alcoholic beverages and therefore cannot drive the car. Furthermore, a very caring staff, and a good breakfast where you have to indicate in advance how much you are eating. I still think it's recommended.

My team colleague and I were in Bad Sachsa to prepare for the season.We were warmly greeted at reception on site.We were even allowed to choose the location of the room.The hotel is kept in an old, simple style.One of the duvets had a hole - it can happen, it's not a big drawback.The breakfast was perfectly fine.Why the 4 stars? :The hotel is a family business.The family puts a lot of heart and soul into the hotel and tries to accommodate every wish.

A small, nice family hotel, very clean and nicely decorated. Visited someone there and would recommend it. The breakfast buffet would probably be fine too. Very nice hostess. The guesthouse is located on a steep mountain. Not necessarily recommended with normal bikes. A few meters away you can reach the spa park or other hiking opportunities on a beautiful forest path. My cousin's room didn't have a balcony, but it did have a large double window with a direct view of the forest.

I've come here several times on my business trips. I can recommend the hotel/pension. The price/performance ratio is completely ok. Even though the hotel is getting old, you can't get this anywhere else for the standard room of €37. Chinese massage is also available as an additional option for a fee. The owner, Ms. Pang, and her family are friendly and do their best to make the guest as pleasant as possible. A difficult event doesn't make it easy for them, but they cope with it better and better.👍👍👍

The staff was very nice and that's why I'm a little sorry to write this review.The room was very dusty and the bed linen was full of hair. I then asked for new ones, which was answered in a friendly manner and I then changed the bed linen myself as I wished.There was hair even in the drawer.I was the only one at breakfast at 9:10.Flies on sausage and cheese. The milk coffee was delicious 👍🏻Next time it would be better to pay €20-30 more and stay in a clean hotel.

I had work in the region and booked the suite for one night. Shortly after booking, I received a message about the best way to arrive by car or bike, as one of the routes has an 18% gradient.On site I wasn't sure whether you should stand on the property, directly in front of the hotel on the street or about 200 m away in a public parking lot and decided on the parking lot. I underestimated the gradient a little in connection with the luggage, so I recommend standing directly in front of the door on the street. I couldn't find any signs prohibiting parking on the side of the hotel (like in oncoming traffic). The entrance can be found at the back right in the driveway. After I rang the bell, the door was opened and the room key was given to me. After I quickly filled out what I wanted for breakfast, I went up to the third floor with my luggage, unfortunately without an elevator. If you are carrying heavy luggage or are physically restricted, you should definitely check whether a room on the lower floors is available before booking.The room was clean and spacious and the view was really fantastic. There is a shoehorn, packaged shampoo and packaged soap available, as well as plenty of power sockets in the bathroom and both rooms. There are two armchairs and a table on the balcony, the cushions are on the closet in the bedroom. Anyone who likes to have the television on while on holiday should know that it cannot be seen from bed.Since the room is under the roof, it was a little warmer than I would have liked, so I slept with the window open. Although the area is very quiet, with the window open it was unusually noisy, both in terms of noise from the street and from neighboring rooms.Due to the previous recessions, I took a closer look at the cleanliness and furnishings and found, in addition to a few insects (which are to be expected in nature), also some limescale in the bathroom. The curtain was torn in 2-3 places (you can only see it when you pull it apart) and the towels were a little harder than usual. At no point did I have a feeling of disgust or discomfort, for an older hotel in this price range it was completely acceptable and if fabric softeners are deliberately avoided here in order to protect the environment, it deserves a plus point in my opinion. The only thing I felt a little uncomfortable was when I discovered that there wasn't a single smoke detector in the room, which now feels like driving a car without a seatbelt. But at the latest you will find the next smoke detector in the hallway in front of the rooms.At breakfast I was greeted by name in a friendly manner and much to my surprise. I was also asked directly if I would like to order anything else. The selection at the breakfast buffet was ok and you definitely got full. The only drawback from my point of view was that the rolls were too dry for me.In the breakfast room there is a refrigerator with drinks, here you can help yourself outside of breakfast and, if I understood correctly, enter your room number so that it can be billed when you leave.Unfortunately I cannot make any statements about the wellness offer.All in all, a slightly older but cozy hotel, the kind you often find in this region. The owner was friendly and keen to make you feel comfortable and the location in nature is nothing to sneeze at either. Despite a few small "defects", I would definitely recommend the hotel and would happily give it 4 stars.Thank you for the stay.

Very friendly, helpful hosts. Since the hotel is not yet fully booked, I got a double room instead of a single room -Comfort (at no extra charge). I was really happy! The fridge with drinks in the dining room is well stocked and has a large selection. The location of the guesthouse is super idyllic. Just right if you're looking for some relaxation. You can quickly reach the spa park and the museums on foot. There are also many restaurants nearby.

If you're hoping for a clean room, warm water for showering, clean cutlery or glasses for juice, you're in the wrong place! The fact that certain deficiencies in the room are pointed out to you straight away at reception is nice, but it doesn't make it any better. The elevator is still out of service (it will probably never be repaired). Luckily we only booked one night. Rarely have I seen such a tattered carpet in the room. The bathroom is very small and has a shower curtain, which I personally don't like. We couldn't use it because we only had cold water. When asked the boss about the cold water, oh yes, that can happen, he just has to press a button again. (After the breakfast disaster we went back to the room; the water had to run for a full 7 minutes before it got warm. It's a shame). The breakfast room is anything but clean and inviting. Fat cobwebs around the table and chairs that apparently weren't used that often. Cutlery and dishes didn't look clean. The small packaged jams were liquid for all of us. Salami and cheese in slices, packaged butter, liver sausage and cheese as well as various yoghurts. Tin spoon for a coffee from a machine that tasted terrible. Yes, scrambled eggs should be available if desired. What came next, however, didn't have much in common with scrambled eggs. All in all, if you just want to spend one night without any comfort, this is the place for you. I don't recommend it to anyone else.Answer:Dear Mr. Braunsberger, it is absolutely right that we wanted to have a single room before our visit. In hindsight, I'm glad we didn't get it.It's a shame that they feel so attacked by criticism. Maybe they shouldn't put their energy into justifications but into the cleanliness of their hotel. There's an old saying: Whatever happens, happens. I wish you all the best...and don't worry, WE definitely won't be coming back.

An outdated hotel where nothing is done anymore, what has been in the reviews for a long time (negative) is exactly the same (broken elevator, cold water, cleanliness in the hallway and room), we don't have any positive reviews found . The breakfast and the completely filthy dining room are horror, the food is of a low standard and carelessly laid out. Cutlery and cups unclean. When leaving the room after breakfast was broken, we took a look into the kitchen, which explained everything.Never again .Thank you for your answer::: 1. There was no bad mood2. The deficiencies have been in the reviews for a long time and have been resolved. None of them have anything to do with occupancy. Cleanliness is non-existent3. She doesn't have to answer unkindly and write about a cancellation because there was never any mention of it.4. Since I/we have eaten the food, you can make your own judgment:and finally word from you, yes we will definitely choose another hotel
