The decor is beautifully old-fashioned and the food is formidable. Especially the red-haired, incredibly nice waitress who is present at any time of the day or night is a real asset. She is very courteous and warm, she is more than just a nice waitress.

We came by on our bikes as part of a vacation (in the neighboring town of Greene) and were happy that the beer garden and kitchen were still open (before the lunch break). We had two different dishes, both made with fresh ingredients and absolutely delicious. I've read really bad reviews here and I can't understand them. And we had a really nice chat with the waitress. Thanks for the nice welcome.

Very nice service. Had fresh asparagus, boiled potatoes with schnitzel or pork fillet. Everything was freshly cooked and nicely presented. Definitely recommended.

We had a class reunion at the Hotel Steinhoff with a schnitzel buffet and I was very excited. Both the food and the service were great. We were in the small hall, which was lovingly decorated.

Tuesdays are Schnitzel day at Steinhof and they are really highly recommended! Real schnitzel from the pan, very tasty fries, tasty fried potatoes. We were there several times and everything was always great. The service is very friendly and makes a lot of effort. The boss is also very accommodating. Also on other occasions, such as B. Sunday lunchtime we were able to enjoy delicious food and hospitality. We'd love to come back!

We had dinner here with the family on Boxing Day. First of all, we've never been there before, but we always like to try something new.The friendly service and the “wedding soup” as a starter were positive.Negative- It wasn't a nice atmosphere.- The toilets were so old and run down that our 4 year old son was really freaked out about going to the toilet here.- the cola had little carbonation and didn't taste good.- The buffet was just okay. The croquettes were too soft, the duck breast was quite firm. I've also been eating the vegetables much better. I just didn't want to eat more than one plate here.We didn't wait for dessert either, but drove away.- When reserving a table, I asked what the price would be for our 4-year-old son and was told that he would still eat for free. He had the small cup of "wedding soup" and three croquettes to eat. We should then pay 9.90 euros for this. I thought that was too much, so we paid 5.90 euros for the mini cup of soup for him. Simply say in advance what it costs, then everyone can decide for themselves whether it is hardly worth it for such a small child.We definitely won't come back.

Was there for the two negative reviews a week ago on Schnitzel Day from the 5er at the next table. We ate everything and even after asking twice, everything was fine. Food and service were top. It's a shame that people like this insult others without knowing the background.

Seldom eaten so badly. Fried potatoes very light, the onions in them too. When the schnitzel was cut, the water ran out of the meat. The mushrooms are very, very dark. They probably had their best time a few days before.I think it's all prefabricated goods, just warmed up.

By far the worst restaurant in the area... Pressed meat, no taste, the pepper sauce was thin like soup and from a can, you could count the diced ham in the fried potatoes on one hand. In addition, they were only slightly fried and tasteless, the waitress had no teeth in her mouth and the operators couldn't handle criticism. Save your money and avoid this storeThe saddest thing is that you can't even pay by card
