There was a lack of staff in this hotel. The same person who made the breakfast worked reception. They do not speak English at all. The breakfast is very basic just sandwiches and cereal. There is no AC and the rooms are decorated with creepy pictures. The bathroom was in need of an upgrade! Also there are no curtains on the windows so it is very bright in the morning. The only good thing was that the beds were comfortable. Some rooms were missing light bulbs so that was very inconvenient especially in the evening.

It is insanaty that the management can not be strict enough to forbid the smoking in the hotel. Only beacause of this it is a big one star! This hotel would be a great example, how somebody can improve a hotel step by step, to be a great place.

Location is good as not far off motorway, use hotel just for over night stop, no one on reception, told to collect keys from storage box, didn't see any staff, and don't believe any staff was on premises overnight ☹️ rooms - 90s design clean functional nothing more, no bar open! Breakfast - typical German style meats / cheeses etc , I wouldn't book again

This hotel doesn’t even deserve a single star.. they leverage Hannover Messe and charge exorbitantly high and provide not even basic facilities . When I pay ~ 280€ per day, I atleast expect a coffee machine , toiletries replaces everyday ( not even the soap/ shower gel ) .. breakfast is very basic and it’s 1.5km walk from train station. May be next time I would stay in Hannover itself.

I spent 2 Nights at Hotel Stadt Peine last month and it was the highest quality hotel i have seen for such low price per night. Excellent breakfast and staff aswell as very comfortable bed and more than enough room. Kind and helpful staff working on making the hotel more than perfect. i wish others can see this beauty of a hotel too!

If this isn't the worst hotel in the world, it will be once that place closes. The rooms were not clean. The carpets were nothing you want to have your bare feet touch. The bathroom was FILTHY.  …

Beside bad smell from bathroom/toilet in our room there was nothing bad. Room was big (2 rooms actually), beds comfy, breakfast was good (suitable for kids). But I think it was a little bit overpriced. We paid €80/night (2+2) while we usually pay approx €60 for stay in this type of hotel. Will recommend for a night stay during family holiday.

The worst hotel I have ever stayed. The reception was often closed (no staff in the hotel!!) and the indicated tel for emergency was not accessible neither. What if you have any problems during stay (for example key lost)? Only price is recommendable.

If this isn't the worst hotel in the world, it will be once that place closes. The rooms were not clean. The carpets were nothing you want to have your bare feet touch. The bathroom was FILTHY. The grout absolutely rife with black mold. All of the furniture in the rooms are IKEA, or look as if they were found roadside with water warped and chipped surfaces. Upon check-in I inspected the beds. One was completely covered with someone's head and body hair. Not just one or two hairs, but as if they'd been sleeping there for a week. There were several from my team staying here for the week. We all compared rooms and found that the only real difference was the size of the room itself and layout. All just as filthy and cheap as the last. Listed at < 100 Euro per night, the room rates were raised exponentially to 235 Euro per night due to the volume from the Messe/CMat conference that overtakes Hannover (35mins away). As such, the hotel was full for a couple of days of our stay. That resulted in a complete lack of hot water and water pressure. I would never stay here again under any circumstances.
