Very friendly and helpful hosts, cooked something up for us late in the evening...There was electricity and a roof for the bikes and the bike path to Braunlage was easy to ride...Thank you, see you next time

The rating only applies to the restaurant: Zander is fried to perfection and the fries are also perfect. The landlady very friendly. Overall, a pleasant evening.

It's ok if you have nowhere else to stay. There is nothing really horrible to say but also nothing good. Breakfast was only 9,50 € per person. You can ask for scrambled or cooked eggs. It's not amazing but good for the price.

The house is a bit older but the new operators try the best for the guests.Price, performance is right here because it felt cheap.We had a great stay and would be happy to stay there again if necessary.

Very good value for money. We were welcomed very warmly and looked after during our stay even though the owners were on holiday themselves. Breakfast and dinner were very tasty, especially the breakfast left nothing to be desired. In the evening a la carte or Dutch specialties of your choice. Rooms clean and functional. Had the apartment with 2 bedrooms and lots of space.Overall, highly recommended, we would be happy to come back.LG to the owner and the staff representatives and many thanks from the Oldenburgers

Looks nice little hotel. If you want to switch off, I can only recommend it.Dogs are also allowed upon request/announcement. There are plenty of opportunities to go for a walk

Rustic cozy hotel.Very familiar and super friendly operators.We haven't been welcomed so warmly in a long time.We have the holiday apartment and are more than satisfied.The breakfast is also fresh every day and the rolls are delicious warm.We'd love to come back.

Nice hotel. Nice staff. The room is fine. Of course the technology is a bit outdated. But you are in the Harz to relax. Everything is easily accessible by car. Whether Bad Sachsa or Walkenrid.

For a weekend getaway, the distance (500 km) can be a problem.But fine for diehards.The warm informal welcome by the Dutch host Wim and hostess Ali was a nice introduction. They are helpful and try to make you happy.The menu is not extensive, but what is served is good. What you see is what you get.The room and shower are decorated from the 1970s. A celebration of recognition for me. They are spacious and clean. Funny that I was allowed to pick a room.The attractions in the area are worth a visit. On the way there, the surroundings completely surprised me.If you are a winter sports enthusiast, you can go cross-country skiing, tobogganing or skiing here. It may not be challenging enough for an experienced skier.If you are traveling through Poland or the Czech Republic, hotel Zur Post is an excellent stopover.

Expensive mini-hotel and heating is not allowed to be turned on at check-in, which is a big minus as it is very cold in the room in winter.

We had booked a holiday apartment at the Hotel zur Post, but when we got here we were totally horrified. It takes a bit of arrogance to rent something like that out as an apartment. Not to mention the furnishings, which date back to the 1960s. No dishes, no electrical appliances, nothing that you could do to take care of yourself. We arrived there with our grandson and the bed was also missing, so only a double bed. Luckily, after a few calls, we got a great holiday apartment in Zorge. So if you love adventure and don't want to believe it, book at the Hotel zur Post. I don't know what all the pictures you see on the internet are, the apartment in the back yard that we were offered was horrible. You will now say that we are exaggerating with all the positive reviews, but unfortunately not.

Super lovely hosts and everything is so warm and familiar. Breakfast was also great and very private just for us. Rooms very clean. The food in the restaurant in the evening was also really tasty. Would love to come back.
