We (2 people + 2 small dogs) have booked for 10 days at the Hotel Im Tannengrund (Haus Melanie). The rooms were modern and clean. The breakfast and evening buffet (salad, soup, main course and dessert) were plentiful. If something was missing, it was quickly refilled. Great attention was also paid to cleanliness. Lots of choice and everything was very, very tasty. Dogs are also allowed in the dining room. The manager of the house and the employees are all very, very friendly and polite. We felt very comfortable. We recommend the hotel and would be happy to come back.

Well-run hotel, although it has a small space problem here and there. The room and bathroom were quite small. The breakfast room has tight seating.However, the house scores points with good, friendly staff, new furnishings, cleanliness and the indoor swimming pool. The house is in an idyllic, quiet location on the edge of the forest.Breakfast and dinner buffets are good and tasty.Conclusion: I really enjoyed the 2 days in the house. But there are certainly better 3 star hotels

We ate a la carte here for the first time today. Lunch with 10 people, registered. We were all very pleasantly surprised at how great the food was. The starter salads were more colorful than usual. The cauliflower soup was very tasty! The meat dishes were very rich and tasted good. I had vegetarian noodles with mushrooms, which was a small dish, but the portion was decent. And the main course salad was very large and tasty.The atmosphere is surprisingly modern and very cozy. The sanitary facilities were also said to have been new and nice.I would particularly like to emphasize the friendly and attentive staff!!!There was also a playground outside, which was used today when the weather was great.The restaurant was personally recommended to us by friends.We were very satisfied and will definitely come back.The only thing that will probably be a disadvantage for tourists is the somewhat hidden location. As locals, we are happy that we have discovered a new restaurant that is really worth visiting! Keep it up!We didn't use the hotel.

This hotel is fantastic - beautifully and quietly located next to an outdoor swimming pool in the forest! Ideal for a hiking holiday in summer. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the food is great! The family room was simple and very small, but clean and perfectly fine for our purposes. We were there for the second time and had a wonderful stay in a relaxed atmosphere! Absolutely recommended!!!

The hotel offers something for everyone. There are opportunities for hiking and mountain biking in the immediate vicinity. In addition, the adjacent outdoor swimming pool is freely accessible. The hotel also has a beautiful pool and sauna. The meals are delicious and varied. Furthermore, the hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating. Therefore a clear recommendation and we would be happy to come back.

We had a pleasant few nights in this lovely little hotel.Highly recommended in summer, the public forest pool directly connected to the site can be used free of charge.The hotel is very family-friendly.There is a large playground, a play pool for the little ones (with daily water changes!), there is always something at the buffet that the little ones like and board games can be taken out of a cupboard free of charge and without any effort.(We are traveling without children, but we still noticed it positively)There was nothing else to report about our room; thanks to the beautiful surroundings and plenty of excursion destinations, it was only used for sleeping. So the slightly older TV without streaming services wasn't of any interest to us.Bathroom big enough, bed 1.80m, everything as usual.Only the rubber pad under the topper was unpleasantly loud with every movement - but there's not much else you can do to protect the mattresses from sweat etc., so it's better with it than without.The service is very friendly and accommodating, the young team is bright and conscientious. At the breakfast table and at dinner you are served promptly, dishes are always removed quickly and generally things run smoothly. The boss is also always on site and supports the process.All you can say about the kitchen is: hats off!There was always enough choice and dishes that changed completely every day.Basically everything tasted good, home-style, there was something for everyone.We shouldn't forget that we are in a small hotel on the edge of the forest - we were pleasantly surprised.There is also nothing but good things to say about the cleaning staff. Fast, efficient and the staffing ratio is also well sized.Tldr.: surprisingly good hotel, good value for money, we'll be happy to come back.

YELLOW ANNEX BUILDING NOT RECOMMENDED!Construction workers who are looking for a place to stay are usually accommodated here (internal information from staff). This part of the building has nothing to do with vacation. Applies to rooms 30 and above in the adjacent building.After complaining, we moved into a room about 300m walk from the main building.Everything is tip top renovated, reminiscent of a luxurious bungalow, you have peace and quiet.When booking either the main house or Haus Melanie.The yellow outbuilding is just creepy!!Service was great, commitment was great, food was tasty! Accommodation was difficult on day 1. Therefore, a point was deducted.

We had a fantastic time at the hotel im Tannengrund..We didn't think this. Along the way we read the reviews... and yes, so many people, so many sentences.We can only confirm all the good reviews and give them even more compliments.. it was so very good, the location of the hotel, the room, the care was great.The friendliness of the staff, what attentive treasures each and every one of them... and the food was so good, so tasty, there was so much choice and everything was so well taken care of.We swam in the indoor pool and the sauna was wonderful. See you next time.. .

We actually felt quite comfortable in the hotel for two reasons in particular. Firstly, it is really surprisingly tastefully renovated, very nice and pleasant color concept, this also applies to the swimming pool. Secondly, the employees (except for the boss) are really very nice and relaxed, they sometimes take the time to exchange a few words and are still on their toes and doing their job. The buffet is good average, you shouldn't expect culinary highlights, but it is well crafted and everything is attractively presented. What was negative was that there were no plant-based milk alternatives for breakfast. The room was clean and very nicely renovated. However, there are deductions for the (non-existent) water pressure in the shower and the (barely available) power of the hair dryer. Washing hair is not possible with longer hair. Last but not least: advertise a place for e-bikes and then say "You can lock them up on the fence out there." is completely off topic and no longer relevant.
