The house is family run. The rooms are clean and furnished in a Bavarian rural style. Great bathroom, great breakfast, I didn't miss anything.German/Bulgarian cuisine a la carte.Pick up and drop off service from the train station.We'd love to come back!

We stayed there for a week on half board. The house and the rooms are super clean. Bathroom is newly renovated and great. It is a small family business. We were treated super friendly. Breakfast first cream. We really enjoyed the Bulgarian cuisine in the evening. Anni responded to special requests (vegetarian food) in a very relaxed manner and conjured up something that wasn't always on the menu.We felt very comfortable.The area in and around Bodenmais is a bit mountainous, a challenge for those with walking difficulties, I assume.Bodenmais is well developed and you can get everywhere for free with the guest card. If you want to shop for something other than glass and porcelain, the selection of shops is not large.But if you're looking for exercise in fresh air and beautiful nature, this is the place for you.

Very nice hotel, nice remote location and Balkan/Bulgarian cuisine that is absolutely recommended. Very tasty with fresh ingredients.Rooms, check-in and breakfast are absolutely fine and value for money is great. I can only recommend it, see you again 👍

We had booked for 6 nights but left after 4 nights and looked for another hotel. For the first two nights we were the only guests in this house. After I asked for some heat, the room got quite warm.The breakfast was the worst I've experienced so far (salami, cheese, cooked ham) and cheap sausage out of the package. From the third day onwards a few more guests arrived and there were also scrambled eggs (natural). All of this in the economy version. I also doubt that a restaurant that is open from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. will be a no go for us because of the freshness of the food on offer. For the same price there are much better and nicer hotels in the area.

This place deserves a successful restart. Extremely friendly, uncomplicated hosts. Price/performance ratio is right. Don't be put off by the external condition of the inn.

We were there for dinner. We had pljeskavica with fries. The meat was very well seasoned and had a fine grilled taste! The lady who served us was very nice and couldn't be bothered...gladly again

We were there for dinner.The pork knuckle was cold, some of it was still frozen, the sauerkraut was white cabbage pickled in vinegar, so I mean something different by sauerkraut. It was not edible. My girlfriend had the schnitzel, which was also thawed and tasted the same. It was more like a shoe sole than a schnitzel. We only had two dishes and four drinks for €41, which was simply too expensive. Food just didn't taste good. The guest room was very carelessly furnished and some guests were much too loud. Unfortunately, the innkeepers didn't do anything about it. We are used to noise from our bright child but it was still far too loud even for our little one.All in all, not recommended as a restaurant.

We had great days at the Hotel Tannenhof!! Very friendly and caring hosts, family atmosphere, clean, newly renovated rooms, delicious food and a perfect location for hiking and other activities in the area. 5 stars and we'll be happy to come back soon!
