We had a wonderful time on the pitch.We had actually only planned one night with a motorhome and motorcycle trailer, but thanks to the outstanding hospitality of Edwin and Adriana, it turned into four unforgettable days.Everything was done to ensure that we felt completely comfortable. The excellent food is particularly worth mentioning - it was a pleasure every day!We would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts and can warmly recommend this parking space. Anyone who has been here will definitely want to come back.

Motorcycle holiday for four at the “Fischerwirt” (Ewald), nice welcome from the innkeeper himself, secure and covered parking for the mopeds including the possibility of using tools.Breakfast 1a, dinner simply great, the host does everything himself.The whole service from the landlord and his also very nice wife was simply great.Conclusion: Gladly again!👍

Top location, host very friendly,Even though it was a rest day, he cooked extra. Great location, the motorhome parking space was also clean and quiet. It was a lot of fun, I would love to come back here from Würzburg.

Worst rip-off, usury!The operator is friendly,but shamelessly exploits the situation of those looking for accommodation. Demands 180 euros for a shabby attic apartment (he calls it a suite),Card payment doesn't work???Furnishing a wild mix of styles,Hole in the rumpled bedding (fresh?, probably not), zero Wi-Fi signal, broken towel racks in the bathroom, creaking doors, etc.Breakfast at 8:30 a.m.!We gave up and quickly left the scene of horror. Never again!

When we walked past the Hotel Grenzwald Fischerwirt while strolling through Bayerisch Eisenstein on Saturday, July 13th, 2024, we noticed the board with the inscription "freshly smoked fried trout" and wanted to stop there later.The clarified butter smelled so delicious coming from the kitchen, that we were drawn in by the smell and ordered the trout.This is a beautiful, fresh, charming and stylish inn with very friendly innkeepers.It was a super tasty plate with so much flavor and cleverly freshly prepared. We immediately agreed that it was 3x more delicious than the smell!!! There's a lot of heart & skill in it 🤗 Thank you very much for this delicious experience!!!We'll be back ....... then with lumberjack steak & overnight stays, because it's very beautiful & newly made with a lot of heart ❤ which you can feel 😏

We stood here for a week with the motorhome on its offered parking space. Absolutely brilliant, quiet and with a view of the Grosser Arber. The location is great and you have direct access to cycling/hiking trails and there are great motorcycle tours in the area. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Ewald Liebl conjures up a delicious meal using fresh ingredients.The trout in particular is brilliant and he also smokes it himself.It wasn't the last time we were here.Thank you Adriana and Ewald for the friendly and family welcome.

The Hotel Grenzwald (Fischerwirt) is an outdated hotel that has been under new management since August 2023.The rooms are basic but clean.Guests for just one night are not welcome because of the increased workload, which is also reflected in the invoice.We were all the more surprised why we were given two “single rooms” (each with a double bed) and not a double room as we had requested. Would have saved a lot of work too.The innkeepers are friendly and the breakfast (which was not included in the room rate) was good and plentiful.The bottom line is that the price-performance ratio wasn't right for me, and we didn't really feel welcome, but rather tolerated for “only” one night.I was unable to confirm the statement: “the others don’t accept guests for just one night” on this tour.Conclusion: we were happy to get accommodation, for the price we felt more comfortable in the Bavarian Forest.A repeat is unlikely for us.

We parked our motorhome right next to the hotel in the central, beautiful parking space with a power connection in the rain. The innkeeper couple is super nice and accommodating. And the food was very tasty. We recommend .

I booked a room for the weekend and I'm thrilled.The service as well as the food and the room were very good.The housekeeper and the landlord seem like a well-coordinated team.When I've been there in the past, I didn't find the stay as great as this weekend.Keep it up!

We stayed at the Hotel Grenzwald by motorbike for 2 nights in August 2023 and were well looked after by Kim and Dirk.As motorcyclists, we really appreciated the secure storage space for our bikes and the gas conversations with the hosts (both also motorcyclists). We'd love to come back.

I can't say anything about the room in advance, but we were eating there today with our wife and child (>1 year old). At the beginning the service came quickly for drinks... after that there was a lot of waiting, the child was already getting naggy and the wife asked if we had already ordered. You then had to order the food you wanted yourself. It came relatively quickly... but the venison goulash was completely peppered and the potato gratin was cold. My wife also ate better before and we should have eaten at Pöschl again
