Best hotel far and wide. Perfectly connected, perfectly furnished, no chic, but delicious, high-quality food, relaxed guests, courteous hotelier family, wonderful starting point for hikes or a place to relax in and around the swimming pond. Cannot be described in a Google comment.

We stayed at the Hotel Pausnhof with 3/4 pension for a week in August 2023 and still think about it fondly. It was simply wonderful: stylish, simple furnishings with lots of wood, delicious and high-quality breakfast, cakes and dinner, swimming pond, sauna, super comfortable and cozy beds, nice staff - everything was wonderful!

Beautiful, family-run organic hotel with excellent cuisine and a stylish ambience - a true place of relaxation and peace. What you shouldn't expect here is excessive, unnecessary luxury (in the literal sense), but rather a reduction to the essential and beautiful that offers space for relaxation and peace

We went to the day wellness in the schoolyard: the food was incredibly good, the atmosphere was also very nice and pleasantly quiet!Unfortunately, the wellness area, which is very nice/clean and well furnished, generally only opens from 2 p.m., i.e. H. As a day wellness guest, I usually have to wait until then. Unfortunately, this makes little sense to me and is not communicated on the website. Even if the facial treatment is scheduled for the morning, I still have a period of at least 2 hours during which I cannot use a sauna or similar. After repeated inquiries, a single sauna was kindly turned on for us at 11 a.m. However, I felt that this was done very reluctantly. Since we were told that this was not what we wanted.Of course, I mentioned this when paying, but unfortunately there was little understanding from the management of the hotel, let alone any financial accommodation (for your information: the price for the daytime wellness from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. is €170). I don't want to say the price isn't justified! I would just like to receive the service that was promised to me in advance.Another thing I would like to mention is that unfortunately we had to rebook our appointment, this happened very smoothly and the hotel was able to offer us another day. That was very nice! All in all, I thought the sauna thing and the reaction to it was a shame! Otherwise we thought it was really nice at the Pausnhof! But as long as the sauna opening stays that way, we won't be able to use the daytime wellness anymore.

We really enjoyed our time at the Pausnhof. The architecture and interior design by the Hafner carpentry with exceptional woodwork contribute to the pleasant atmosphere. What should be highlighted is the delicious food, all homemade and prepared with seasonal or regional ingredients. With the Pausnhof, the Simmet family has created a wonderful place for a break where nothing is left to be desired. It's perfect for hiking; most paths can be reached in a maximum of 30 minutes by car. We'd love to come back!

The Biohotel Pausnhof is a wonderful place to unwind. As soon as you enter the hotel you feel grounded, you escape the hectic everyday life and can completely switch off. The Simmet family and their team always take great care of their guests. I'm already looking forward to my next visit. Kind regards, Michael Fritz
