There was just some food there. Pork knuckle with Bohemian dumplings and sauerkraut and my friend pork steak with chanterelle sauce and Bohemian dumplings. Everything to our complete satisfaction. The knuckle was crispy on the outside and cooked through on the inside, just as it should be, and the sauerkraut was also simply great.Service was impeccable, everything went quickly and the prices were pretty reasonable too. The waiter spoke German and Czech fluently and was very accommodating and nice. You're in good hands there if you want a hearty meal. Ambiance was very cozy. We'll be back.

We had dinner here today. The beautiful inn is in the "second row", which doesn't detract from the view or the ambience - quite the opposite.The host really deserves this name. Not only is he absolutely attentive - we were also immediately captivated by his friendly and cheerful nature. You genuinely feel welcomed here.We found out about the daily menu offers from the host personally, with all possible variations. The daily specials alone offer more choice here than the full menu elsewhere.We decided on roast pork in chanterelle cream sauce, once with Bohemian dumplings and once with spaetzle.Let's make it short, it was the best roast pork we've ever eaten! The meat is incredibly tender and tastes great. The sauce was a dream, with lots of chanterelles and the dumplings were simply A1!We agree, we have rarely eaten so well!!! Absolutely fair in terms of price - especially for the quality of the food and the super friendly service.We're already looking forward to our next visit - because we really want to try the burgers on the menu.Thank you for a wonderful afternoon with good food and a host with an infectiously good mood! :-)

Went there to eat, spontaneously saw it from the street... seems a bit inconspicuous but definitely go! The food was great, the service was very accommodating and all at normal prices. Absolutely clear recommendation! 👍

Pleasant seating, excellent food, pleasant service. We had soup, coca cola beer and coffee for reasonable money. It was a great addition to the end of the hike through the amazing Arbersee.The owners are Czechs, so you can come to an agreement.

The innkeeper lives up to the name of the restaurant. The food (stuffed peppers with Bohemian dumplings and breaded cauliflower with fried potatoes) was really very good.There is a small play area for the children.The guest room is more like a living room where you immediately feel at home.

A wonderfully located, sun-drenched guesthouse, right on the rise to Arbersee. The house is located directly on the Brennes, on the road between Bayerisch Eisenstein and the Arberlift. Borders the forest, large meadow, you can sit outside... pure relaxation! There are single and family rooms with and without balconies, as well as rooms in the attic with two shared bathrooms on the floor for a total of five rooms. The rooms are getting old, but extremely clean and quiet. The beds are comfortable. Dogs are also allowed.The house is in "Czech hands" ;-). Hospitality is therefore very important. Super nice hosts, very accommodating, excellent price-performance ratio!Ideal starting point for hiking, recommended for all nature lovers! If anyone is interested in herbs, this is paradise. Great meadows to the left and right of the guesthouse, full of St. John's wort, lady's mantle, wild strawberries, white clover and much more! As already mentioned above, in the immediate vicinity of the guesthouse are the Großer Arber with gondola and ski lifts and the small Arbersee. The large Arbersee is a few minutes' drive away.The home cooking in the restaurant is also highly recommended. You shouldn't miss it. The food is delicious and there is something for everyone - including vegetarians. There is also a children's menu (much cheaper, of course).Personally, I would prefer normal oatmeal rather than the sweet children's stuff (Nesquik and similar sweetened stuff) for the breakfast buffet.Otherwise everything was just right. Thanks again for accommodating us with the time of departure. Happy to come back!
