Pleasant, fairly large hotel in beautiful surroundings.The hotel is a bit older, but the room was renovated and perfectly fine. The room was very spacious. There was also a mini kitchen, but there were no dishes in this kitchenette.There is an indoor pool and a sauna area with a steam sauna, bio sauna and normal sauna. All three sauna rooms are relatively small and the relaxation areas in the sauna area are not always sufficient for the size of the hotel. Unfortunately, the opening times of the sauna are not optimal and at the end (8:00 p.m.) coincide with the end of dinner - you should consider extending it until at least 9:00 p.m. (= closing time of the pool).The staff at the reception, in the restaurant area and also the service staff are all nice.There are plenty of parking spaces on site, which would always be sufficient if guests had sensible parking regulations.The hotel building is very large and arranged in a U-shape. In some cases the distance to the Restauranttrackt (separate building with a non-barrier-free connection to the hotel building) is a bit long.There is an elevator in the hotel building, but it is relatively small and can take a long time to get there.The rooms are extremely quiet.

Nice hotel in a quiet location, many hiking trails and attractions nearby.Very friendly and helpful staff, good food, if you can't find anything here you should cook yourself.The rooms are clean and big enough, ours was newly renovated and had a balcony.One point of criticism for us was that there should be more storage space and towel hooks in the bathroom.We would love to come back...

Large, clean hotel with very nice, attentive staff, although there are sometimes language barriers.We were surprised at how well all inclusive works in Germany.Unfortunately, Wegscheid is a bit far away from the beaten track, so it's not recommended without a car, but there are plenty of excursion destinations within an hour. The hotel itself is in a quiet location and you can relax well.Rooms are large and clean.There is also a playroom for smaller children with lots of toys, which our little one really liked.The food was ok, varied but I was unlucky because it was taken too early and was tough and dry or it didn't taste like anything. But most of it tasted good. Not everything was fresh but the salads were always recommended.The pool is a bit too small for the number of people but is still nicely done.We can recommend the hotel and cannot understand some of the bad reviews.

The hotel itself is okay, it's just a bit stuck in time. You can't say anything about the staff, they are just great and helpful. But not suitable for wheelchair users, normal double rooms are much too small and you can't even get into the bathroom. Unfortunately you have to drive around outside to get to the dining room as the inside can only be reached via steps. The location of the hotel is more for hikers if you want to experience something, for example with children you always have long distances to travel. WiFi is only available in the lobby.

The photo on the homepage is edited and does NOT correspond to reality.The house looks old and the facade is dirty with algae and brittle.Just as old insideThere was only the option of booking all inclusive, between restaurant opening times there is simply nothing - no coffee, no food. A bottle of water in the room which has to be paid for. Coffee for breakfast is terribly bad, you have to pay for coffee at the bar. The food is an old fashioned buffet with really poor quality.There is only WiFi in the 'computer room' in the hotel.Unfortunately, German as a language is not very well represented among the staff, the only problem is that English is hardly spokenIf possible, DO NOT stay there

Very nice hotel, rooms are very clean and the bathrooms have been newly renovated. I was at the Hotel Rosenberger from October 3rd to 6th, 2024. I took a short trip with my sisters. The food was great, there was something for everyone, you can't complain. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. So I will go there again with my husband and granddaughter. I can only recommend the hotel.

Hotel may not be bad, we were looking forward to staying for a running event. Unfortunately we were unable to travel due to a death. We had to cancel 3 weeks before our planned stay. Despite the hotel being completely booked out, 80% cancellation costs were due. A service fee of €25 would have been due to rebook to a later date. After we canceled there was no room available either. (I checked separately) So the room was sold twice. Congratulations on winning! We will no longer check into any of the Donna hotels.

Another stay at the Landhotel RosenbergerWe were now at the Landhotel Rosenberger in Wegscheid for the third time and were accommodated in the studio, this time even with a balcony facing the quiet courtyard side. The food was again excellent and varied, the wellness area left nothing to be desired, all 3 saunas were open. The staff were again friendly and the entire hotel was spotlessly clean. There was also sufficient parking space. The location near Passau is simply wonderful. We really enjoyed our stay and can fully recommend the hotel.
