After 28 years we were finally on the Danube again.Here in Obernzell is the perfect place to explore the area, including of course Passau.Plus, a trip to Austria is so close.To the hotel.Very friendly, hard-working staff.The accommodation is clean and corresponds to the price.Breakfast is always sufficient and tasty.Special requests are recognized and fulfilled immediately.For dinner the menu is manageable and the portions are a bit small or manageable for an adult.I can recommend the hotel to my personal environment.

We had 2 single rooms for 4 nights.The view from the terrace is great. The hotel is located above the Danube. The staff is very friendly. Special thanks to John. The food is great (not included in the price). Breakfast was served on boards, which was okay.The rooms were large and clean, unfortunately without a balcony or terrace. So not suitable for smokers. If you want some action in the evening, you're unfortunately in the wrong place. There is more atmosphere at a funeral. If you want peace and quiet, this is the right place because there is nothing on offer. Every now and then the radio plays in the background.In my opinion the price-performance ratio is not right.You only have to dig deep into your pocket for overnight stay and breakfast.I know it differently from the Bavarian Forest. Of course, price increases are everywhere.

Yesterday we had dinner at the former Fohlenhof, now Landhotel Donaublick, for a long time. Even though the garden was completely full, our order was taken quickly. Drinks and food came very quickly. Big compliments to the waitress, who did everything almost single-handedly. But she had a little support.Food was very good, nothing to complain about. Everything freshly prepared. Priced quite normal.Of course the location is fantastic. It was incredibly quiet. It couldn't be better. If you want to eat in a relaxed manner, this is the right place for you.We can't rate the hotel, we only went to eat.

Everything is very ok. Food good. Service good. A little far up the mountain but ok. It's a shame that there was a wasp infestation that made it impossible to sit outside. Don't blow your mind, but you can't complain either. You get exactly what you book!

The rooms were clean but a bit old, the drawer in the bedside table was broken and the refrigerator was dirty. The beds were good, but unfortunately the room was very warm. The bathroom was clean, sufficiently large and equipped with toiletries. For breakfast there were prepared plates with eggs, sausage, cheese and salad, supplemented by the option of ordering muesli, honey, Nutella, fruit salad and other jams. We went out for dinner, but then went for a nightcap on the terrace. Most of the employees were very friendly and accommodating. The prices were good.

A nice hotel, ideal for bike tours on the Danube or to Passau. The rooms are simple, the bathroom is small and a bit older, but everything is very clean. The staff is very nice and friendly. The lockable bicycle garage with charging options for e-bikes is very good.The hotel is dog friendly.

The location is great! The service thanks to Jana? (Student teacher) worth more than just 5 stars. Even when colleagues were annoying about keys and interrupted her conversation with guests while they were taking their orders, she always kept calm and kept an overview. Keep it up and your future students can look forward to seeing you!!! The meals were plentiful and tasty. The rooms are ok, the bathroom is too small and smells musty despite being in the highest room category. Unfortunately the furniture in our room was worn out.

A rare case where there's really nothing to complain about. All promises were stopped. Check-in possible from 3 p.m., but it is advertised on the website. In the evening we enjoyed delicious house wine on the terrace with a view of the Danube. Price-performance ratio optimal

A picturesquely located hotel with a terrace offering an amazing panorama of the Danube. Large, clean rooms, 20th century style ;) Great restaurant. The breakfast was correct. Possibility to safely store bicycles. Climbing from the bottom - a challenge at the end of the day.
