A beautiful, quietly located small boutique hotel with only 12 rooms.The rooms are well-equipped, very clean and somewhat different than conventional hotel rooms. A lot of emphasis is placed on sustainability here. However, we were very disappointed with the breakfast offered. Considering the high prices for overnight stays, there is still a lot of room for improvement. Because the breakfast didn't correspond at all to what the Lartor is otherwise able to offer. It's a shame because everything else was perfect.

We stayed in 2 gallery rooms in the hotel. The rooms are really very unusually furnished. It was very warm on the last days of July. I would have liked air conditioning in the room. And more peace in the evening and at night. Unfortunately, this was not possible because the restaurant guests obviously forgot to park right in front of the hotel entrance in a fire department driveway. Just because they were probably too lazy to run. Since we had our rooms above the front entrance of the hotel. We heard all the noisy guests arriving and noisy guests leaving. Not to mention the restaurant was supposedly only open until 11 p.m. When you pay so much money for a hotel room, you can at least expect peace and quiet after 10 p.m.If I hadn't complained loudly, we probably would have had noise and loud engine noise outside the windows until 2 a.m.Especially since there are parking spaces right near the restaurant. And the fact that the reception is no longer manned at 6 p.m. is really a problem. You should then complain by phone. I did it. You were kindly referred to the restaurant staff. If they hadn't reacted, I would have called the police and they would have ended the whole fun.I've never experienced anything like this in a hotel.The breakfast was very good.There weren't that many guests there either.The staff was very friendly. We didn't eat in the hotel restaurant either.I reported the complaint to the friendly lady when I checked out the next day.We will not have fond memories of this extraordinary hotel stay.We will definitely not be coming back.

I chose Lartor for a three-day team coaching session. The booking and arrangements were very professional and uncomplicated, the service in all areas of the house was very friendly and pleasant. You really try to make everything possible that is possible.The location of the hotel is fantastic with a view of the Ammergauer Moos and the Ammergau Alps. You have the vastness and the mountains at the same time. Since our coaching sessions mostly take place outdoors, we had endless options here. You stumble out of the hotel and find yourself in the countryside, in quiet places and powerful places. As an alternative, the seminar room in the hotel also offers everything your heart desires.Last but not least: the food is really delicious and the rooms are beautifully decorated.My customer felt very comfortable. It was easy to work in this atmosphere.I would like to come back for team coaching.Until then, all the best to the entire Lartor team and thank you for your support,Marcel Leeb

Great hotel: rooms, view, cleanliness, breakfast and the consistently friendly staff - everything was TOP 👍🏼Four stars because I wished I could have slept a little longer in the morning. Between 7:00 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. either a dog barked or you called and whistled for the dog BUT the biggest problem was the loud slamming room doors! If this happens a few times in a row, sleep is definitely over. That was a real shame, otherwise everything would have been perfect. Door dampers might be a sensible investment here.

The hotel impresses with its top location, which is quiet and exclusive. The rooms are very tastefully and modernly furnished and everything looks new and well maintained. What is particularly impressive is the great view that you can enjoy. The exterior of the hotel is already attractive and invites you to linger. Absolutely recommended!The associated restaurant offers an excellent breakfast buffet. The selection is large and the quality of the food is excellent. The staff is also extremely friendly and creates a pleasant atmosphere. Overall, a wonderful stay that I can only recommend!

We only visited the restaurant here. It is a very special house in a beautiful location, with very friendly staff and exceptional, healthy and delicious food, which, however, also comes at a price. We all felt very comfortable.

We treated ourselves to a little break over Easter. Back to my beloved Bavaria 🥰! This time we ended up in Unterammergau at the @lartor_resort. The Boutique Hotel Lartor with the adjacent @restauranthieronymus is awesome! Sorry for the choice of words, but that's just it. Rarely have we slept so beautifully and peacefully and the food is great. The entire team in the restaurant/hotel are incredibly nice and super friendly 🤩. We are more than happy here these days and will definitely come back! Thanks for the great time 🫶🏼!

A wonderful relaxing weekend. Excellent service, great rooms. A lot of heart and soul was obviously invested here and it was worth it. Got a bottle of Prosecco as a goodie after a false fire alarm. All employees very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was also an absolute surprise and highly recommended. We won't be here for the last time! TOP

Beautiful boutique hotel in Unterammergau, just a few kilometers from Garmisch and the Zugspitze.We had a room on the upper floor with a free-standing shower in the room and a view of the mountains. It was fabulous.The breakfast buffet is balanced and delicious.

This is a hotel with stunning views and rooms. The rooms are large modern and very clean. All the rooms have a weird glass shower in the centre of the room which is cool but there is no privacy. I would recommend coming to this hotel if you are in the area.
