Hotel is getting old. Had a room without WiFi and the TV was not turned on. Positive: Really very clean!Restaurant, next door: Service was super friendly, food (starter and main course) came very quickly, but the taste of the main course was average. TOP starter with ⭐️

I had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel am Schlosspark for two months, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The Aparthotel is not only beautiful but also thoughtfully designed, making my extended stay incredibly comfortable. The view from my room was stunning, providing a perfect backdrop for relaxation. The cleaning lady did an exceptional job every week, ensuring that my room was always spotless and welcoming. It was evident that great care and attention to detail were put into maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.Breakfast at the hotel was another highlight of my stay. The buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options each morning. It was the perfect way to start the day.A special mention must go to the owner, Max, and his family, who were incredibly cooperative and supportive throughout my stay. Their hospitality made me feel right at home. The administration team was also highly efficient and professional, ensuring that everything ran smoothly during my time there.

We originally booked for three days and left the hotel after two days. The fact that the furnishing style is very reminiscent of the eighties may be seen as a matter of taste. But this at a time when, with outside temperatures of over thirty degrees Celsius, the rooms are so heated that it's still 26 degrees Celsius in the room at night, is simply unbearable, and there is not the slightest interest on the part of the hotel management. at least with small efforts to improve this unfortunate situation. Ventilation options to at least let the heat out of the house at night are consistently omitted, and the possibility of placing small fans in the rooms is not even considered. The fact that not much has been invested in the house for decades can be seen in every corner and edge; rusty radiators, defective lamps, missing sanitary utensils, etc. underline this impression.Nevertheless, the location right next to the castle park is very good, breakfast is completely fine, but overall in our opinion it doesn't deserve four stars, but three at the most. We will definitely not book this hotel again.

The hotel is getting old. The only modern thing in the room was the bed, which was so far against the wall that 1. there was no bedside table on the side (no light either) and 2. when you got out you had to drag your feet directly on the wooden paneling of the heating below. The hallways are dark. The trash can and the scales in the bathroom were probably from the opening days. Unfortunately, at breakfast you were only greeted if you did so first.Check-in was very pleasant, bed was comfortable, location is really good. There is an elevator and plenty of parking spaces. The breakfast was ok and there was also cakes and sausages.

We booked a deluxe room for 4 days/3 nights.I'll start with the positives:We were there 2 hours before the official check-in time and were still able to move into the room. There is plenty of free parking available. The bed was comfortable and seemed clean and well-kept. Fresh orange juice for breakfast (to squeeze yourself).Unfortunately, the negative impressions clearly outweighed the negative ones. The whole hotel and the furnishings are already getting old. Various tiles in the bathroom have cracks/cracks and the radiator is rusted. The balcony door is difficult to open and there is only an old plastic chair. We found a full ashtray when we arrived, but it wasn't emptied in the following days. The door fitting to our room was loose. The lighting on the 2nd floor was sufficient, but 4 lamps were defective on all 4 days we were there! The breakfast itself was OK, but since it is available from 6:30 a.m. the cold cuts are no longer that attractive at 9 a.m. and the fruit was no longer refilled. The service leaves a lot to be desired - my highlight was the employee saying: "I don't know if it's a nut cake, otherwise try it if your partner is allergic!"I mentioned this incident and also the full ashtray on the day of departure and the employee apologized and dealt with the criticism very professionally. My complaint about the thick layer of dust in the changing rooms in the wellness area was received differently. The answer was that there were already guests in there before them and there were also 4 cleaning staff sick at the moment.Unfortunately, the wellness area is not nice either. The elevator takes you to the dark basement. The only light comes from the elevator. The area is from the 1970s/80s and the rickety loungers (see photo) are carelessly placed around the room. All in all, it's not a 4 star hotel for me and the room had nothing to do with deluxe.Cheap TV, no information folder in the room. Holes in the desk, no pen, no paper. No minibar or fridge, no fan or air conditioning. If it were a 3 star hotel I would definitely have given it 4 stars overall, but unfortunately it's only 2 stars.
