I liked the hotel and the staff so much. Whenever I go to Garching, I am planning to stay there. My son and I liked the place. The breakfast was amazing.

The Ludwig is a hotel where you are warmly welcomed. Very large rooms. Very clean and modern. You immediately feel comfortable. Classic breakfast. You can order coffee there directly. All coffee specialties. Really delicious. The breakfast staff 5 stars. Connection to Munich. Awesome. The escalator is convenient in the hotel. I was there privately with my son because of Bavaria

The König Ludwig II Hotel with its two buildings is centrally located on Garchinger Bürgerplatz and therefore has a great connection to the subway network.The hotel's underground car park is large enough for all standard cars and is recommended.The breakfast was wide-ranging, fresh and tasty. Delicious!Room:The room and bathroom were clean, big enough and modern. Drinks (including beer) were provided in the minibar and the prices were well marked.Unfortunately (as you can read on the website) there is no air conditioning installed, so it can get very warm in summer. A fan was available in the room.There is free WLAN / WiFi, but unfortunately it didn't work.Service:The staff was friendly and courteous at all times, seemed well trained and was able to help with any questions.If I need a hotel in this area again, I would check in here again at any time.

Very nice, centrally located hotel in Garching.It is in close proximity to the subway station and the bus stop.The rooms are very spacious, although there is no air conditioning but there is a fan.The bed was large with good mattresses.

The hotel is highly recommended and ideal for solo travelers. The breakfast was really extremely tasty. There is a subway station next to the hotel, and public parking spaces are also available nearby.

My flight was canceled and I suddenly had to stay at a hotel here.It was a very good hotel.However, the room did not have air conditioning.It was hot when I entered the room, but when I opened the window and turned on the fan, it felt cold while I was sleeping.The staff was friendly and nice, but the taxi I called in the morning didn't arrive on time.In the end, I called a taxi through booking.com and went to the airport.I wasn't able to relax because of the flight schedule, but I think it was a pretty good hotel, so I'd like to relax next time.

Good price-performance ratio. Great location in the center of GarchingThis makes a great selection for dining out within walking distance. The U6 is right next to it, so you can get to Munich quickly.

Excellent location near public transportation, friendly and responsive staff, great selecion and delicious breakfast. Although the overall design of the room seemed a touch outdated and the bathroom had a faint odour, the accomodation was still rather good value.

First of all, the good things: The hotel is located right next to the Garching subway station. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are well-equipped and clean.Nevertheless, I have to make serious compromises:1. My room faced the main street, was not ventilated again after several humid days and had neither air conditioning nor simple ventilation (the latter would have been enough for me). So I had to sleep with the window open despite the loud traffic.2. Breakfast is completely unsuitable for people who want to eat in an environmentally, climate and animal friendly way. There were neither any purely plant-based offerings (apart from jam), nor were the things that were available well labeled. Yes, you can ask yourself questions. But you usually don't want that. And soy yogurt, hummus and other vegan things should actually be considered good form by now.3. At checkout the card reader wasn't working (apparently since the day before). As a hotel you should have a backup!

Without air conditioning, the room will be very warm in summer. Otherwise very nice service, cozy room and great breakfast.The hotel is very centrally located and right next to a subway stop. There are also a lot of restaurants that you can reach on foot.

The rooms are a bit old, but everything is fine and really clean. The bed was very comfortable.The breakfast was very fresh, tasty and there was a large selection. The employees were all very friendly.You could exchange room cleaning daily for a free drink at the bar.The location is great. Garching is a village, but directly below the hotel is the subway, which takes you to Munich in no time. But there are also a few restaurants in the area.

Very nice accessibility by trains, taxi and bus, about a single subway away from TUM university, its also so close to two of the very good restaurants in Garching, The breakfast was good, very different options, there is a bar and also a nearly sushi place with reasonable options.The room has most of the option, however a kettle is not one of those!
