It's a shame, because the location itself is fantastic. But unfortunately the friendliness of the “hosts” leaves a lot to be desired. The gentleman was basically not visible the entire time, only to come out briefly once or twice to become loud and abusive. When it comes to women, you can probably best say “a good attitude towards a bad game”.

I celebrated my big birthday there in November with 30 people and everyone was completely satisfied. Family atmosphere, tasty food, real prices and really an extraordinary place with a lot of cosiness. Rooms simple and rustic, but very clean. Thank you very much, Dachs family!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Absolute recommendation! The mountain guesthouse is in an idyllic location, surrounded by pastures and the Mangfall in the valley, which is ideal for swimming on hot days.Animal lovers will get their money's worth here. From dogs to chickens and peacocks, there are even a few rheas.The Dachs family's warm hospitality extends throughout your entire stay. Here you can feel how the guesthouse is run with heart and soul. From homemade jams and cream cheese to Kaiserschmarren made from Nandu egg or delicacies such as boiled beef or cheese spaetzle, nothing is left to be desired.A place where you can completely switch off :)

Innkeepers with heartI stayed at the Maroldhof with my dog for 2 nights. We were immediately greeted warmly and I was immediately asked if I would like to stay for dinner. It was the right decision! The food is super delicious. The whole farm is rustic, cozy and has its own charm. There is something to discover everywhere. A lot of attention to detail, whether at breakfast (homemade spring cream cheese, jam or the delicious potato salad with the schnitzel), the furnishings or when looking after the animals.Who has ever seen peacocks in trees or baby peacocks? You also learn a lot about rheas.In the evening you can end the day under the beautiful, beautiful sycamore maple with a "Hellen"! I felt so comfortable with you! Thank you very much for that!

A special location! Went to a great birthday party at the Maroldhof and everyone was really excited. You can literally let your hair down. Great hosts. Food delicious. Atmosphere like in a small museum. Had a live band that rocked the place in the vault-like guest room. Highly recommended for all kinds of celebrations.

I organized this year's summer party for our company in the mountain guesthouse. My colleagues, their families and I were absolutely thrilled by the service and the ambience. The communication in advance was optimal and everything worked wonderfully. The grill buffet was excellent and nothing was left to be desired. The Dachs family are wonderful hosts. They even made sure the weather was right ;-)
